Conclusion

The Dell XPS One offers a simple and elegant design in a compact shell, which makes it attractive to many casual and business users. Gamers, on the other hand, will be disappointed with the lack of graphics performance — although the higher end, more expensive model offers better graphics performance. Based on manufacturer’s suggested retail price, its closest competitor, the 20" Apple iMac is a cheaper and more powerful solution to the XPS One when it comes to graphics performance. However, the iMac does not have an integrated TV Tuner or comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse combo like the XPS One, and has only half of the hard drive space. Of course, Dell has deals and sales a bit more often, making MSRP less important.
All the attention to detail is what really makes this machine great. Anyone who is looking for a package that allows easy setup, looks great in any room, and performs well, while taking about as much space as just the monitor in traditional desktops, the Dell XPS One should be something to consider.
