Since 1946, Lowe’s has been providing support, inspiration and quality products to customers looking for home improvement solutions and DIY projects. About 30 percent of Lowe’s business goes to professional customers, but even the novice homeowner can find great deals and helpful service at Lowe’s.
If you know you’ve got a ton of home improvements on the horizon, signing up for a Lowe’s Consumer Credit Card is a great way to save. They often have sign-on bonus discounts around 10 percent off your first purchase, plus you’ll get 5 percent off everyday purchases.
Moving soon? Sign up for Lowe’s Mover’s Program for a 10 percent off coupon. Even if you’re not moving, Lowe’s runs frequent promotion codes for specials like $10 off when you spend $50 or a basic 10 percent off. You can also get free shipping on orders over $49. Additionally, if you really want to avoid shipping costs on orders below $49, you can ship any item to your local Lowe’s for free and then just pick it up.
Lowe's offers price matching and promises they will beat local competitors' prices by 10 percent. All you have to do is bring in the local competitor's ad, but it only applies to "everyday prices," meaning non-sale items. If the competitor's price includes a percent off discount they will still match the net price. Their price matching "does not apply to installation labor, to the competitor's closeout, special order, discontinued, clearance, liquidation or to damaged items."
