Fun game. Worth a play through for the single player campaign. Not sure how active multiplayer is anymore but I remember it being pretty good

MP was pretty fun when it launched. Game was hyped up too much, like a draft pick that got drafted too high; still a good player, but everyone views it through the letdown-lense.

SP was kinda lame, IMO, but for $4? Worth $4 easy.

Voted and repped, thanks OP.

For some reason, I was thinking that this deal was for the space RTS game Homeworld, which came out in '99. Because this is the certainly more-recent Homefront, this is an assuredly better deal than I was originally envisioning.

so if i wanted to buy this for my son, who has a separate steam account, can I just buy this under my GMG account, get the key and let him install it under his own steam account? I'm new to GMG and not sure how buying steam keys from another vendor works? thanks!

For $4, it's worth it for the fun short single player but I think you'll probably uninstall right after you beat it.

Just throwing this out there: Homefront was one of the worst FPS's I've played in a long time. Excellent concept, flawed execution, it just was never fun to play....you spend more time running around from place to place through abandoned houses and buildings than you do actually shooting at enemies......but your mileage may very. Note its a very short SP campaign, maybe 4 hours......
