I've given my opinion in many places about the beer's i've tasted. Might as well have a thread about it. Feel free to add.

Currently having a Shiner Blonde.

A bit too light for my tastes, but a good Spring/Summer lager. Light, crisp, not too hoppy. Kind of like a hefeweisen without all the yeast. I tasted a little lemon at the first taste. Prett good. On a scale of 1 to 10, i'd give it a 7.

I am having a 1.5 year old 120 minute right now. Mighty tasty. It tastes more rich or full bodied than the fresher stuff. Still delicious.
EEK! Wouldn't it get skunky by now? Confused

We need a craft brew only thread, so we dont need to hear about any mass produced beers.
There are plenty of mass produced beers which are very very good and the American public typically doesn't know about them.

you should think of something crazy like that but only brewing 1 or 2 gallons so you don't waste to much grain, and might as well and use a dying yeast cake

Remember Goat Scrotum Ale in one of Papazians books? I tried a few that other brewers made and it always sucked.
