Due to some confusion about what to merge and what not to merge we have come up with this:

If it was already posted in the main thread then we will merge outsiders into the main thread.

If it wasn't already in there we will leave it unmerged.

Please keep in mind that:
This is NOT a forum for you to request if there are any screenings in your city.
This is NOT a place to request for Gofobo codes.
This is NOT a thread for discussion of any sort

Simple Test: If you're not posting specific screening information, you're in the wrong place!

Rationale: Getting codes takes quick fingers. People subscribe to this thread for immediate email/text alerts on ticket available. Get the alert; check the geography; and pounce. Anything beyond that is a false alarm - and way too many alerts.

For code requests, any questions and general chit chat, use the thread that was made just for that purpose in Deal Talk:

Thankfully, this thread IS:
a common place to post and share specific information about upcoming free movie screenings.

For good stuff like:

• the when and the where of screenings;
• how exactly to obtain passes;
• contests to win passes;
• the sharing of Gofobo codes with the community;
• the sharing of tickets that you can't use;
• pass distribution locations, etc.

And, of course, try not to just lurk and mooch. As with anywhere in life: sharing leads to more... sharing!

And, WTF, rep ALL contributors, since we hope that they'll keep contributing, right!?!.

For Gofobo.com passes:
In order to actually get them you must fill in all the info from your Personal section in your gofobo profile. Click your blue username link on top right, click "Edit" tab, click "Personal" tab, then fill in all the info. This is because gofobo links your info to the passes so you cant get a bunch to give out.

Feel Free to Contact Longhorn10mom for information about Dallas screenings. There is an large yahoo group that compiles all the information about DFW screenings on a calender and there are generally anywhere from 4-12 a week to go to. Dallas is a huge screening market and there is always something going on. The members on the forum are super when it comes to pass exchanges and help.
