I wanted to start this thread to see what other people are doing to lose weight and as an support group also. So feel free to post diet related topics ex:exercise routines, certain foods/diet food programs you have tried or would like to know about.

Please DO NOT: Thread Crap, post if you have negative things to say about others.

I want this thread to work, especially for the people whoses resolution is to lose weight, maintain weight, or even gain weight.

Count me in. I have gained a ton of weight in the last 3 years and none of my clothes fit. I am sick of being tired and fat.

ooh, where was this thread a year ago laugh out loud

Personally I probably need to lose another 30 lbs or so.

Stress and not eating fast food made me lose 50 lbs over the past year. Unfortunately I wasn't trying to lose weight so I think I could very easily gain it all back.

It's nice to have a thread all to ourselves Whee

Thank you, MOnay... for starting this thread...
especially since this is the time of year when most think about the changes they want to make in this new year ...
then as the days go by it gets more and more difficult to follow through...
so maybe with each others support we can make a difference in our journeys this year!

I have been gaining and losing weight most of my life...
I just have not been able to stay with a program long enough to reach my goals...
even when I lose a nice amount of pounds then I give into those foods I think I cannot live without and I am right back where I started!

In 2007, was using the 'You On A Diet' program that has the book by this name and a website offering Dr. Oz's support...
I approached this program with the idea of improving my health which seemed to help me get further than just thinking of it as another diet... I was doing really well!
Then I lost my mother... grandson... father... aunt... grandmother... which brought on such depressive thoughts that I faltered...
I was just getting on my program again when I lost my dog... finances changed so I was unable to purchase the foods that I needed that resulted in my eating the potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc., that is grown on our farm and available...
once again, I am looking to return to this program... I would so appreciate the support to improve my health while also losing the weight!
And I also am willing to support each of you on your journey as well!

Thanks MOnay for the great thread..after having lost 60 lbs before I had 3 children and since gaining some back, I've been trying to get back on a diet with no success. I'm totally addicted to Diet Coke, I don't even want to say how many I probably drink in a day it's embarrasing laugh out loud but I have cut myself down to 2 cans a day now. I've been doing that now for a week bounce I hope to make it to 1 a day & then finally only having it as a treat. I promise myself I'm going to start walking & walking & walking ...I think it's a great motivational starter just making this thread. Hug2
