Lowes appliance return policy

I ordered the Whirlpool front-loading washer and dryer Lowes had on sale last Tuesday. It now looks like I will end up in an apartment that already has a W/D included. Anyone know if Lowes will take refund my money. The delivery date is not for another 2 weeks.

Hi, you should just be able to call them and tell them to cancel the order. If it is 2 weeks out anyway, they have enough lead time. They were good about that when I did the same with a refrigerator when I lived back in Las Vegas. I know that there you had to find your own installer as they just brought the item(s) to you. That was why I cancelled.

It will be NO problem before the delivery.
The real question would be: major appliances delivered to you then what? according to their web site and back of store receipts they would replace the appliance within 7 days of delivery.
Now, does it mean it is THE ONLY way or general 90 days terms also applies?
