Free Return Address labels from The Disabled American Veterans
Click on the link which brings you to: DAV Feedback Page
Select "Return Address Label Inquiry" from the Pull Down Topic Menu
Type your name and address in exactly as you want it to appear on the Labels
Hit Submit (if you poach this Vegaslady - say you borrowed it!)
They will add you to their mailing list and send labels with a donation request

And then you send them a donation right? Because only a real jerk would try to get something out of the disabled american veterans.

That's right! I send the suggested donation IF I request the addy labels. however, I don't feel obligated when DVA sells my name to other charities as a 'likely donor' and then they turn around and send me free lables I did not personally request. That's the way I handle things.


I have found that once you request these things from one organization, they sell your name over and over again so that just donating once means you will be swimming in them eventually. I do donate when I feel I should to the places that bought my name, but I don't feel as obligated.
