Good price for any B&M eyeglasses retailer. Personally, I have had great luck with zennioptical.com and continue to get my glasses there for both myself and my wife, but for those who need B&M care, this is a nice deal!

Beware of the extra charges for photo gray,,polycarbonate, lined bifocals,,,its great if you have a single vision prescription......wholesale on frames is about $10,,,and single vision 60 mm are about $4 each,,plus grinding,,,a very high profit business,,,and even better if you can add on!!!laugh out loud

This is not a good deal. ClearlyContacts [clearlycontacts.ca]has been offering $38 brand name frame eyeglasses (the whole set) for a while now. It's a Canadian site, good store. There're also coupons for them floating around which makes it even cheaper. I got my glasses a few months ago from them, very satisfied. Although the $38 selections are much smaller now. Back in November, I think, there was like over 200 frames for $38, all brand names.... oh, that price is in Canadian, so it's an even lower price in US.

Clearlycontacts.ca doesn't ship to USA, however, they do have an American website with the same prices at CoastalContacts.com. 3-5 day ground shipping costs $6.95.

No, it's valid in CA except for La Jolla and El Cajon. Not CA in Oklahoma and Puerto Rico.

Personally, I've gotten this deal before at Sears and never had any problems. I hate to defend Sears as I have had problems before with them with ordering stuff online. Back in the summer, I got in on the outdoor swing deal and was double-charged (paid on-line and then had to run my card at the pick-up kiosk in order to pick-up merchandise). Really bad customer service as I had to dispute through my credit card and submit not only the documentation which clearly showed the two charges, but additional calls and letters because Sears disputed MY dispute. Anyway, sorry went off-topic. Just my two cents on the optical services -- I've never had problems and their customer service has been really good. I take my glasses back on a fairly regular basis to get the frames adjusted when they get a little bent (wire frames - I sometimes fall asleep with them on!) and also when a screw gets loose, etc. I'll be going back this weekend for a screw replacement. Thanks OP for the info.

Went today to check out this deal. They only had about 9 frames to choose from for the 2 for $99 deal. They were crapola!

However, they did offer to sell me 2 designer pair for $300 :-)

SCAM! Sorry I posted.

Thanks for the info, I had not thought that the selection would be limited to a select few ugly pairs.
