This thread was started to share a major clearance going on at RA in the last month or so.
I decided to change the title, and keep it as the RA clearance thread, so we can all post what we find on clearance now and in the future.

So gather your coupons, go check up your stores before they get cleaned up, and let's start posting the deals we find!

Today i went to ra and find these things.
kitchen towels are 75% off
Dinner ware items like mugs, cookie jars 75% off
plastic trays 75% off
some of the kids toys jacks, jump ropes, bubble soaps etc are 75% off
I bought a load of the toys myself on Sunday. They were not marked at the store I was in and were hanging on one side of hanging pegs on an endcap. Whole section was the jump ropes, yoyos, jax & bubbles. All for .24 I think.

I stocked up because of this funny experience. A fellow SDer should appreciate it. ---
I had my first yardsale for all my stockpile items last May at a friend's house. I had a huge carload full of stuff, all the HABA & some household stuff. Towards the end of the first day, this family comes up and this little girl walks around looking at everything. The only thing that marginally interested her were the character band-aids I had and she did not look happy. She was probably about 7 years old. She walks over to me and chews me out for a good 2 or 3 minutes that I needed to have stuff for kids! On and on she went while her parents shopped up a storm. I didn't have kids stuff - this was my first sale and much of it was stuff I had bought for myself and family and didn't realize how much I had til it suddenly hit me that I was way overloaded. No small kids here so never thought of the need for kids stuff. But after that berating (more like a beating!), I've done my best to have some stuff. Thanks to RA (foamies anyone?), I've built up a small table worth of products and figure I'll sell the yoyos, etc for .50. Not looking for a big MM on them (they were good for using up a few Ups), just want to keep the whole family happy!

For those buying the 75% food items; the canned tea was not too bad but the mac and cheese tubs were worse than the compleats! And watch out for the fruit snacks, I got a bunch that would have broken my teeth.

I had no luck with this one. I found one in the three stores I went to. It rang up full price. Hopefully someone else will have luck finding it on clearance. That would be so sweet. Thanks for posting this Smilie

I never was able to find the clearance one of these. I just bought the $19.99 one to roll some +ups so I have no idea if what I'm about to suggest will work or not. Now for the lazy part of me who will copy and past from one of my previous posts... Big Grin

snip...... when I find an item from the clearance list that I really want and it doesnt ring up clearance... I ask one of my very friendly cashiers to check it with the handheld scanner. Several times this scanner will say "discontinued item" which means that it is in fact on clearance. So they will price modify the item to the clearance price for me. I pick and choose my battles when it comes to this method because if the store is busy, this takes extra time/effort on their part. For me it has to be a money maker, an item I really want, or one I use.

This held true for the zone perfect bars a few months back and more recently the Samy (purple bottles) last week. Just two off the top of my head.
If you choose to do this and it DOES come up that it should be clearanced, make sure that they still scan the barcode (so that hopefully the +up will be produced) because if they just put it in as misc. item for the clearance price, you DEFINITELY WILL NOT get the expected +Up reward.

Hope that all made sense.

As I was updating the wiki I remembered seeing those thin rolled up $2.99 blankets for 75% off along with about 10 of the Pillow Pets. I'm sure someone here knows the original price of the Pillow Pets.

It varies by store. Within my city, I have found them @ 75% off at several stores. None of them were marked. I just asked for a price check. At one store, it rang $12.74 and at another, it rang full price. Needless to say, I left those at the store...

Both are the gray bottles with the shiny blue label.
Thank you for this tip. I saw these on a clearance endcap, but there wasn't a clearance sticker on them. I remembered your post and with a price check, found out they were half price. What a great deal. Thanks again...
