RESOLVED: Can't open "Hot" or "Up and Coming" Topics in a new window
Hi guys,Before the front page was changed, I was able to see the "Hot Topics" and "Up and Coming Topics", and if I saw a thread I liked, I could right click and open it in a new window. I did this because lots of times, by the time I got into Hot Deals, I could no longer find the thread that was on the front page. Well, it won't let me open them in a new window anymore. Am I doing something wrong? Is that just how it is now? Last edited by alloy321; 02-18-2009 at 06:36 AM.. Note to self: stay out of controversial threads. You will encounter many morons who simply cannot be helped.

I'm having a same problem too
 . The other thing you could do is to hold down the SHIFT key and click on the deal, but you are gonna have 2 windows

Thank you! I'm going to try that.Edit: That worked wonderfully! I don't mind having multiple windows open... it just drives me nuts to see something on the front page, and then when I get into Hot Topics, and I can't find it! Thanks again, persian_mafia! Its wierd in that its like IE doesnt think its a link... but it is, even the hand cursor is gone... yet when you click, it suddenly realizes its a link.
We'll look into this. If you want a workaround right now, it seems that persian_mafia's suggestion works, or you can put your mouse on the thumbs and IE recognizes that as a link. |
