I went to the regeister then casheir first rang my itemes and hit the enter button or something then $10 deduct from my total, after that I gave my coupons.

I bought
3 boxes of chocolate chip waffles and 2 boxes of cinnamon brown suger waffles
2bags of Alfredo chicken viola
2 boxes of french bread pizza.

It has been reported in GiantPa for IS to work on total before coupons. Wonder what would happened if in S&S SCO after the card but before the mfg q's hit "pay" to see the discount , then touch "return" to scan coupons?

I did 3 $20 orders in one trans, used a ton of coupons, i was well under $60 and it took off $30

And I bought $20.25--(4) Birds Eye Viola, New York Garlic Bread, Birds Eye Steamfresh--and no $10 IS came off. I used SCO and after all items were scanned a few other needed items, I hit finish and pay and answered no coupons just to see the total and no IS. I went back, scanned all my qs until total hit 12.26(1.25 should have been frozen foods with IS). Paid. CS told me the frozen food deal was giving everyone problems and handed me a $10 bill. woohoo.

Still, I wanted to repeat the deal but now it just isn't possible and still stay under the radar.

Here we can only fill up one vehicle. I have heard of ways people have used to get "around" this restriction, but have never tried it myself, so we stick to filling up our largest tank vehicle when we get gas points.

Our largest vehicle gas tank holds a maximum of 17 gallons.
7 x $1.00 - $7.00 out of pocket cost for every $.40 off per gallon.
$.40 x 17 gallons = $6.80 off per every seven Gatorade Chews purchased.

Where I live gas is about $3.65 per gallon. That's approximately 9 orders of Chews.
9 x 7 = 63 chews which = $63 out of pocket.
9 x $.40 = $3.60 off per gallon

Doing the math...
17x $3.65 (price per gallon)= $62.05
17 x $3.60 (savings per gallon if purchasing 63 chews)= $61.20

$62.05 - $61.20 = $.85 out of pocket for 17 gallons of gas.
$.85 + $63 (cost of the chews) = $63.85

It's only a deal if...

1. You really like Gatorade Chews and will eat them all.
2. You have fill-up needs of over 17 gallons of gas and can get it without a hassle.
3. If you somehow have coupons that will take money off the cost of the chews.
4. If your store actually has this amount of chews in stock & if the store will allow you to purchase them. (In the past I have had the store manager frown upon purchasing large amounts of a single item, even in the last hours of a sale.)

Otherwise it just is a waste of time, effort and money. If you don't like the chews and use the chews you will be paying money for something you do not eat and still have to pay a tiny bit out of pocket in order to fill up your gas tank.

As always, do what you feel best fits your needs. In our case, we will be skipping this deal as we do not eat these chew things and have no use for them. We'll wait to see if there is a better deal on something we will use in the future weeks.

Found some Y but no A. Did two transactions thru the SC. Was going well until I forgot to input my giant card...duh.......ended up at CS having them refund my savings. Got outside and realized didn't get either Frozen Food $10...back into store. Same clerk just opened register and gave me the $20. Frustrating.....think my brain isn't working well enough to do many miracles this season:/

Super Coupons and store coupons will NOT scan at GiantPA without your club card being scanned first. Stop-n-Shop and Giant-Landover work differently as GiantPA had their own point of sale programming before becoming part of the Ahold conglomerate and they continue to use their own software at POS. It is way more sophisticated and whoever did the tweaking of the industry standard in IT understands coupons and how they work better than any other grocery change IMO. Meaning there are fewer glitches for us couponers to take advantage of. Bad for us, smart business practice for GiantPA

Instant savings worked on sale prices before coupons, didn't go away after applying multiple coupons. That's an important for shoppers glitch..

We wait until both vehicles are low....head to the station and park opposite each other at pump. Stretch around and fill up with the full 35 gallons. Only problem is when you use a credit card, the pump shuts off at $90 or $100, depending on station.
