Page 4 of the ad - $5 off when you buy 5 Kraft items. If you are near a Redners they have a $5 coupon for the same thing in their ad. So buy:
4 Breakstone Sour Cream - $6.67
1 Kraft Cheese Slices - $3.29
Use $5 coupon, get $5 off - FREE
You can also do 5 Shake and Bake or 5 Velveeta Shells and that would be free too
Does the redners coupon scan okay at giant without a problem? Thinking self checkout perhaps?

The $5 coupon from Redners is a manu coupon, the $5 discount is the Giant discount. They have many things included, get your order as close to $10 as you can and it will be free or close to free.

Well I am answering my own question from experience. Super Coupons will not work AT ALL at Giant PA without scanning your card. If you scan them without scanning your Bonus Card it deducts zero.

Super Coupons DO work at Giant-Landover stores just like at SnS. I visited a store in DE and woohoo got my free strawberries and some chicken.

Just in case anyone is actually reading this thread. I know almost no one is posting. Just don't mess with my stores!!!!!

I wish more was posted on here but with the stinky deals and only doubling of one coupon of the same kind and now no gas points bonus, I hardly set foot in Giant.

Does anyone's Giant give them trouble about the wholly salsa & guacamole coupons?

I've gone to 2 stores 2 weeks in a row & trouble at both.

Last week it was... for the $1 off coupon on the .89 single guacamoli packs...
Excuse #1 - they don’t take free internet coupons even though I pointed out it’s not free it’s $1.00 off
Excuse #2 - the coupon is for a box of guacamoli not a single pack – even though I pointed out no size restrictions.
The store manager did wind up letting me use them but the CSR said that he said this was a one time thing.

This week at another Giant, even though I used the same coupons as above I also used the $1.50 off of the $2 salsa - they at first limited me to 1 of each type of coupon period and then after talking to the manager I was allowed to use 4 of each type of coupon period. He was concerned about the 1 per transaction and refused to do seperate transactions when I asked. But then he let me do 4 in 1 transaction. He then said he was just plain old limiting their acceptance of the coupons.

I'm beginning to hate Giant. I feel really really stressed right now. vomit

Then he pointed out to me that they cannot be reproduced. I said that I didn't photocopy them, they all have unique number identifiers, you can run them through veri-fi if you want. He then said he wasn't accusing my of photocopying but was limiting the # of coupons & only allowing me more than 1 of each type just this one time! Amazing! I am seriously frusterated right now.

At first I think he thought I wanted to used more than 1 coupon on each item I purchased because when I explained that I didn't he seemed surprised! My husband thinks that in the end the manager gave a little but didn't want to be totally wrong even if he didn't make any sense.

I feel your pain but stores are a business and have to operate as such. They do have the right to limit coupon usage and you have to right to shop somewhere else. Your disagreement over the $1.00 off vs free is a matter of semantics. If it had happened to me I would have said "I understand" and moved on. One of the downsides to internet deals sites is it almost encourages selfishness and feeling entitled to free stuff. Not aiming that at you, just saying after we read enough about what everyone else is getting we want it too. But remember that the stores are entitled to operate in a profitable manner and if that means restricting the use of the ubiquitous internet coupons I totally understand. Again, this isn't aimed at you, just a commentary on the current situation.

So you really think limiting a customer to 1 of each type of coupon is correct? You know they don't do that for all the customers - don't you? I don't consider the $1 off vs free semantics. I can't help what their selling price is, I'm sure in some places that items costs more. The reason that rule that they don't accept the free internet coupons came into existance was years ago people were emailing eachother coupons to get a free item, the coupons were pdf format and unfortunately alot of them were frauds but since internet coupons were so new noone knew what was fake & what was real. The pdf fraud coupons had no tracking like the coupons.com ones do with the unique identifying numbers. When anyone uses legitimate coupons at stores that accept coupons they are in no way hurting their profitability. My coupons were from coupons.com and had the unique identifying numbers that can be run through veri-fi.com to see if they are real. I wouldn't mind if they wanted to do that - that I would understand. I honestly thought he was doing that when he took them in the back. The people who hurt their profitability are the ones who use fradulent coupons and unfortunately they give us all a bad name.

Your last sentence pretty much explains it all. And even beyond the fraudulent use look to the "extreme couponers" who think they deserve hundreds of each free item and who give the rest of us a bad name. And I'm sure you have read about "work-arounds" to exploit coupon codes etc online. The easiest way for me to gauge whether or not a deal is something I should pursue is to look at it from the other parties point of view - If I was the merchant or the supplier who's coupon is being used is that how I would want/expect my customers to behave? It is much more important for me to be a fair/considerate customer who gets some deals than to throw respect and consideration out the window to get them all. And again, not making any judgements on your situation, just saying that from the things I have read about on deals boards and the mindset of "some" dealseekers I can understand why the merchants have to take steps that unfortunately effect all of us. I find the employees at my Giant to be very friendly and helpful. I treat them with respect and find they do the same with me. That is worth more to me than getting something free.

Huge money maker with this week's gas points. Gatorade chews are part of the buy seven get 40 cents off a gallon.

Buy 70 chews for 70 dollars
Get back 4000 points or 4 dollars off per gallon.......

if you get the full 30 gallons you would get 120 dollars worth of gas......

50 dollar money maker
