i finally got my ronzoni coupons in the mail today and made my first run to giant this week. i used 5 B1G1 coupons without any extra approval needed.

I tried using 3 55cent coupons for tyson with the coupon triplers.. which of course i forget that you can't do more then 1 of with the tripler... which was no big deal, i just took 2 triplers back... but here is my question... giant doesn't double coupons normally? i know they used to, but i'm sitting here looking at the reciept and the 2 55cent coupons didn't double! along with a 75 cent one.... did anyone else notice this or has it been this way for awhile?

also for the frozen deal... make sure when you get the dole berries, you buy the right one... i only had a $5 cat print bc i bought mixed berries... the CSM told me that i could go back and get the right kind and she would print me out a $10 one (which i didnt know they could do) but they only had the mixed berry.. so i returned them but made out ok cause she didn't take off the $3 worth of coupons i used

hope DH likes the Rozoni... i didn't get the mushroom kind cause you guys made it sound so gross, lol!

My local Giants will double the first coupon (if you have multiples of the same one), but not subsequent ones. However, I have noticed errors, and times when the cashier forgot to scan a coupon. I also find the Giant receipts hard to read (compared to other grocery stores), so it's just another reason that I always try to shop using a calculator and "The Book." This is just an old spiral notebook in which I've marked columns on the pages. I write down everything I'm buying, the price, the coupons I'm using, and my net cost. This way, I know at checkout if I'm being charged correctly, and I have backup to check receipts or show CS if need be. When my teenage son goes with me, he's the "recorder." Call a coupon code! LMAO

so that is what it is... in my shop rite and pathmark they double all coupons under $1.. i didn't realize that giant only doubles the first coupon....

lol! i have a book just like that! on the rare occasion that my husband is with me, he is always like "what are you writing down?" or he would put produce in the cart and not weigh it and i'll be like "but i need to know how much it is"... it is the easiest way bc if the price is right in the ball park of what i have written down i don't need to check my reciept before i leave the store

Organized shoppers rule! High Five I mean, really, think of all the time and gas you save not having to go back to straighten out a receipt. Plus, it's good to have a record of what stuff costs at different stores. I'm surprised at how much the prices for some things vary between chains, and between stores in the same chain. And all these stores are within a 10-mile radius of my house!

the triple coupons this week are really confusing trying to read....

but they do double coupons to 1.00

the triple coupons on the bottom of the receipt say double coupon on one line for each coupon used
then tripled coupon underthat for the item again...

on the tripler coupon it says you need to spend $15 to use them... has anyone not spend $15? It also says limit 6 per your bonus card.. has anyone used more then 6 total?

Question... i went to giant today to finish off getting the last of my 30 Ronzoni Bistros... the casher remembered me, who was very nice, and we we talking and she asked where i got all my coupons and i told her ebay... should i have said that? after i told her that the coversation felt awkward and it just made me feel as if she was going to warn her boss abt someone like me or something... what do you say when people ask you where you got all your coupons?

Tell them you just get multiple subscriptions to the local paper /clipping services ext its been my expierience that most cashiers associate Ebay =Fraud Which imo is very untrue, she shouldnt have made you feel that way besides those things are barely etable they should be glad they will get the 1.99 back from the mfq. I can't forsee someone paying real $ for those. sorry You were treated badly next time I would get a little less maybe cut your order in half and make two runs. iT may go a little more smoothly.hug

that is exactly what i thought i should have done after i put my foot in my mouth... i need to start going at different times during the day bc she is the only cashier open early, meaning even though i split my 15 coupons in to 3 trips on 3 different days, she still remembered me. Ebay = Fraud is definitly the look that she got on her face, even though you could see these coupons were clipped out... i'm just glad i only go to giant if there is something really cheap...

Thanks so much for the advice Smilie

I manage the coupon box at work and combine coupons and deals to get things for the local food bank. If cashiers comment on my multiples of coupons or items, I tell them about the coupon box and food bank. And yes, these Ronzoni things aren't so hot. Hubby actually prefers the canned Chef Boyardee to these ... so much for the hoity-toity "bistro" bit. LMAO I almost feel bad donating them, but a few clunkers among all the good stuff isn't too bad, I guess. But then again, someone else might like these. My son loves those SoyJoy bars that most folks in the CVS thread think are vomit

I Totally agree, I hate the cashiers who act like its coming out of their pocket.

I did the freezer deal but only got a 5 dollar cat back? Not sure why.

And they had some post cereal that was b1g1 free (which i was trying to combine with the 4.00 off) but it only took the 4.00 off... again? wth?
