We’ve noticed that there has been some confusion with our compensation policy for Informational surveys. Below is L’Oreal USA Consumer Participation Program policy regarding Informational Surveys and a description of different surveys that you can participate in.

1. Initial enrollment Mapping Surveys: These surveys are sent out to obtain your product usage information (skin/hair/makeup and contact information).
2. Pre-qualification Surveys: These surveys are used to obtain information to pre-qualify for a future study
3. Study Screener/Survey: This type of survey is used to qualify you for an existing study where product will be sent to your home to evaluate and you will then be asked answer a final questionnaire after product usage.
4. Informational Surveys: These surveys are sent to obtain information regarding your product usage, cosmetic/hair/skin habits, product likes/dislikes etc.. (These surveys are the only surveys that are tracked towards product compensation.) You must complete 5 Informational Surveys to receive a gift.

We hope that this will help to clarify that only Informational Surveys will count towards any product compensation.

well good grief... the ages they list to pick your age skip me! it goes to 34 then the next one is 45 and up...I am 42 lol...what the heck?

Same as me...left it blank and went to next ?... got to second part of survey but it ended after picking hairspray product.

I really don't feel any emotion at all in regards to the particular product lol...definitely not MAD Stick Out Tongue

can't say as I ever contimplated any of my emotions regarding the way the spray comes out...laugh out loud as long as it hits my head I'm happy!

I can honestly say that I have been MAD in regards to hairspray. Well, mad at myself at least, for accidentally spraying myself in the eye, which has happened more than once...lol

This is the message I get after I thought i had qualified for the study:



A Browser Window/Tab navigation issue has occurred during this survey

If you were in the middle of Testing, up to this point all of your answers have been successfully saved.

Please close ALL Web Browser Windows then, return to complete your test.
It's best to reuse the same eMail Link that you started with.
This is usually caused by an invalid webpage navigation or opening another browser window/tab."


If I close the window won't I have lost the survey??
Did this happen to anyone else??

Yes, I lost the survey, link is gone in my log-in window. I read where members had "strange" questions, mine never went that far.
Hopefully they will start over.

I have received more gift incentives than surveys I have completed and the informational (five surveys)

Adding a study number might help to keep track of what's going on.
Some surveys have a reward for that one survey, others it takes 5 to get a reward. The paper inside the envelope will always say if it is for a number survey or for completing 5. Some protect tests give you an entire gift bag but again, the letter inside will tell what it is for.

No, no, no! hug Just from whatever product the survey was for. You probably didn't fit the demographic. Don't worry, you'll get more surveys.
