Stockpile stuff you wouldn't mind donating or trading to another SDer

NJ/NY area: Can anyone donate some supplies/food, or water to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. A group of us are heading out to Queens to volunteer this Saturday. The area we are going to still has no power. The high-rise apartments are mostly occupied by senior citizens, who are hungry, cold, and without power. It would be greatly appreciated by all.

I know this is short notice, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. This will all be documented on video.

I'm on the Nassau/Suffolk border so anyone near that I would love to trade/giveway too. If your on Freecyle too LMK.

I could still use some culturelle if anyone has too much of it (I did get 4 boxes from RA, but we all use it). I'll gladly trade Almay eye pallets, Physicans Formula eye pallets, pretty much anything that's lightweight for mailing.

Good news, you can get all the culturelle you need from Walgreens the week of 2/3 as it is free after register rewards.

wow that did not come up in the system when I was looking or in the ad, will have to go reread the ad....hum...

think I almost made it to FEB without being wrong... as far as hubby knows...still have not been wrong

I did something right, can't tell hubby either, he'll come after me with the poking stick just to let me know I can't be right all the time (and no there is no abuse here, just friendly good natured ribbing between consenting adults, never know who's gonna jump in with the wrong assumption around here).
