Coupons are in the attachments at the bottom of this wiki. Search for 'Attached Thumbnails' (use CTRL-F). Press search again if you just found this line...

COUPON POLICY
HF standard policy is (however, YMMV)

One coupon per item, no double dipping on coupons. Fixed sale price (ex. $4.99 screwdriver set) or 25% off any one item - not both.
One percentage off per purchase, per day (generally are 25% off)
You can generally use a 25% coupon on an item on sale. However, some have reported that they have been turned down. If that happens to you, try a different cashier.
Fixed price item coupons will list a max quantity allowed.
One "freebie item" per day (currently are with "any purchase", occasionally a minimum purchase).
Fine print for percentage off coupons exclude some name brands (C-H),air compressors, tool chests, generators, floor jacks, parking lot and other special sales.
Occasionally, HF will offer a percentage off total purchase. Generally, to get a 20% discount the coupon is worded as requiring a specific dollar amount purchase ($99).

(You can generally use a 25% coupon on a sale priced item (fine print exclusions {like parking lot sales still apply) or an online price match. However, some have reported that they have been turned down. If that happens to you, try a different cashier {or store).

INSIDE TRACK CLUB - ITC Membership required by company direction, BUT some cashiers don't care enough to check for your card. YMMV.
Pay close attention to what you're buying. I went through maybe 20 items before I found one that wasn't less simply using the 25% coupon. Several items not on sale were better with the ITC coupon but the trailer for example was $20 less using the 25% coupon over the ITC coupon. One item was not on sale and the ITC coupon was the non-sale price!!

OTHER INFO
Retail stores should price match the on-line website. Bring printouts to get online price matches in-store.
20% and 25% coupons should work on top of the price match as well.

Home Depot and Lowes have taken printed HF coupons but Your Mileage May Vary.
Taking in full page magazine ad with 20% off coupon and removing at register is best option as coupons don't have obvious Harbor Freight logo or identification on them.

25% Off & Free Flashlight - Exp 04122014 and the original sheet.

To print the individual coupons I open them in the Windows Photo Viewer, hit Ctrl+P, select Wallet Size (9 pics) on right side scroll, uncheck "Fit picture to frame", change it to 9 copies and print.

They come out the perfect size. You can also do 4 & 4 if your eyes are bad.

For those who got in on the free cutoff tool a while back, how powerful of a compressor does it actually need? I'm fairly ignorant re: air tools, but the required specs seem to call for way more power than a typical DIYer will have. Wondering if I can get away with my little compressor (Sorry, don't recall stats, but a little $60 cheapo.) for short cuts.

5 CFM @ 90 PSI

Most likely you will be disappointed I think with a small compressor, even for short cuts.
Get the cheap electrical one.

Yeah, I saw the reqs, just curious if that's for sustained operation. My nailers reqs are above my compressors capabilities, but I manage.

Ultimately though, you're probably right, might as well throw the extra few bucks at the electric.

Correct. Sustained operation. Meaning once your tank is empty the compressor won't be able to keep up. It'll keep on pumping but won't keep the tool spinning. It's like trying to flush a house toilet. You can keep pressing down on the handle but not much water/force is going down the drain.

Nailers with small compressors are fine because they use very small amount of air each trigger pull and are not in continuous use and most tops out using 2-3 CFM of air.

Thanks for the info, that's a good analogy. Re: nailers, I'm wondering if the same principle might apply to the cutoff, if used in (Very.) short, (Very!) infrequent bursts. I may just try it out anyway; pretty sure I have a $6 Q sitting around somewhere. If nothing else, might convince my wife a new compressor is in order for Xmas laugh out loud

It's cheap and has great reviews. Just get it and play with it.

Remember after you press the trigger on a cutoff tool that's when air starts to spin it from zero to max rpm. You need reserve air just to get the thing spin to max rpm THEN you start to cut with it.

Definitely have her buy you a better compressor either way Big Grin

In the wiki, there's a link to HF coupons via the Salt Lake City Tribune. Check the 10/20 coupons, the second page has a $6.99 coupon. I frequently have trouble getting them to load; use the Print Preview button to actually pull them up.

There's a lot of hidden gems in there. No Purchase freebie Qs and the like. Worth digging through.

You need a big tank, and a big hose.

I've 2 and they both get up to speed..... and stop when I put them against steel. I need to play around with larger hoses first.

I was wondering if anyone has an up to date coupon for the cordless drill and flashlight combo. I think I am finally just going to buy it I need a light duty drill and figure hell if it comes with a flashlight that's just extra. Also has anyone used the drill is it decent at all for the money. I am thinking of putting up some of the fake wood paneling that's not to thick and I figure it should be able to handle that no problem also I need to install some accessories to my kayak.
I have one for 19.99 expires 12/22. But I don't have a scanner. Can take you a cell phone pic if you want. I don't have that drill but I have an older 18 volt from HF that works just fine. Picked it up on clearance dirt cheap, and it had a one hour charger which I loved. Still stays out in the garage for when I'm too lazy to go inside and grab the craftsman.
