Hey guys, what's the best price you've seen for this 29 gallon compressor (150psi max).
I think I've seen it for 317.xx.

I have two compressors so I'm trying to justify this, but none of my other ones can do 150psi max.

I think I saw a coupon posted by James for 325.

There's a $325 floating around here.
What compressor did you use in the crank bolt video?
Which 2 compressors do you currently have?

I used a Sears Craftsman 25-gallon 4HP compressor I bought in the 80's or 90's.
I've had that one for a while.

It looks like this:

I also have the HF 8 gallon compressor. One of these:

1. http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ho...68740.html
2. http://www.harborfreight.com/2-hp...67501.html
3. http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ho...69667.html

Not sure what the difference between the two (#1 and #2) are, but mine doesn't have the fancy sticker so it is probably #1 or #3.

UPDATE: Looking at the images on google, I think I have the 115PSI version, the older unit. I'll have to check later today when I go to the shed.

The 29 gallon compressor currently is on sale for $360. WIth the 25% off coupon, it's only $270.00. Hmm... Tempting.. But damn, I remember we can't use the coupons with compressors... is that true?

I know how you feel. I wish we could get everything on sale with that discount. Sometimes the Q's are better, but very few and far between. Have fun with this Gary.

All those 8 gallons look the same to me. I really wanted a belt driven V twin so I skipped it. I don't see three of them lining up on the store.
Yeah you can't use the coupon on compressors.
If you live on the mid / east side check out Northern Tool. I suppose to have a compressor coming in today or tomorrow. If you are not in a hurry I'll update how that one is when I get it running.

12" Double-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw With Laser Guide Chicago Electric Power Tools - Item#69684 [harborfreight.com]

I finally figured out how to adjust the damn laser!!!! You know if you pay for a laser guide miter saw, you should be able to have it point where the cut will be, at least to one side of the edge of the blade.

12" Double-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw With Laser Guide Part 07 [youtu.be]
Thanks for the review, does anyone know the difference in the new design (black and yellow) of the 10 inch sliding compound miter vs the old one (red)? Is it the same and they just changed he colors?
Thanks

I personally like the black and yellow colors so that is what I got. From what I can tell, no difference at all. I know some people are using the Laser Arbor Disc- Item#96401 [harborfreight.com] as the laser guide.

That's why the majority do not join ITC.

60 Piece Alloy Steel SAE/Metric Tap And Die Set Pittsburgh - Item#35407 [harborfreight.com]

Now that I got that damn f**king vise all set up, I can finally use my new 60 Piece Alloy Steel SAE/Metric Tap And Die Set Pittsburgh - Item#35407. I am sure I will be stripping a lot of threads in the near future.

60 Piece Alloy Steel SAE/Metric Tap And Die Set 01 [youtu.be]

This is the best Q price I have seen, turns out to be 25% off current sales price, so save the 25% Q for something else if you are going to get this and make most of your HF trip.

Happy Shopping!!!

Use the taps and dies with care, they break easily and aren't very sharp. After I broke one (and I was being careful) I bought a replacement at wholesale tool and that thing went thru with almost no effort. About all these things are good for are cleaning up threads and even at that you have to be careful.

Parking lot sales often have the refer'b/returns like you see in the back corner of a store. In some cases there will be a dozen generators, or engines. ITC allows you to get into those sales early. Although sometimes that stuff makes it to Sunday afternoon when the manager puts them all 1/2 off the already reduced price.

Yep, that's about it.

I'll add that the parking lot sales I've been to (at 5 different stores in 3 different states) have been complete crap. At 2 stores, they weren't even in the parking lot. And I've yet to see any return/refurb merchandise at these sales. Just the normal junk organized in bins at the advertised prices. Woo-hoo. In other words, YMMV on these.
