= 105.95, get 10 CAT, and 115 MC

Next trans
Buy 100 GC to wherever (I need Amazon or BB, I hear you can mix/match)
Use the MC from previous trans
Get 10/50 CAT, 0.40 towards Gas Rewards?

So, in the end
105.95 spent
100 GC from whatever stores, 15 left on MC, get 10 CAT, a 10/50 cat and 0.40 off a Gallon on gas?

Yes. that would work. Or If you can handle the extra OOP, then you could skip the $115 variable MC and do the a $100 and a $50 (like Lisa123 did), or even 2 $100s, since you know you are going to flip them into amazon/BB etc.

It would look like this:
$100 + $100 MC
+ 11.90 fee
- $30 J4U (it is now consistently taking off $15x2)
= $181.90, get $10/10 cat and $200 MC or ($100+$50+$11.90-$30J4U=$131.90+$10/10 cat)

Next trans:
Buy $100 qualifying gc*, pay using previous $100 MC, get $10/50 + 4x gas rewards
*(you can mix and match, I bought $50 Kohls, $25 iTunes and $25 BWW)

Next trans: (if you bought 2 - 100s)
Buy $100 qualifying gc, pay using other previous $100 MC, get $10/50 + 4x gas rewards

In the end:
spend $181.90 end up with $200 in gift cards + $10/10 + (2) $10/50's + 4x gas

Some people are flipping the $100MC multiple times before converting to other qualifying cards. Each flip of $100 MC nets $4.05. Just depends on how much time you have an how nice your store is.

Does anyone know if Starbucks gift cards qualify for the $10/50? I don't have the ad in front of me and the images on couponnetwork are tiny... TIA!

Also, I know this has been answered in the SW thread, but I couldn't find it in a quick search and so I thought I would turn to you helpful folks... can I use the $10/50 and $10/10 in the same transaction? If so, do I need to spend $50 or $60? TIA again!

I don't think Starbucks is on the list. Here's [safeway.com] the cards from the SW site.

I did use the $10/10 and $10/50 in the same transaction. My total was over $75 though cuz I was going for the $10/75. I'd imagine your total just needs to be $50 since the other one has a $10 threshold. Hand the $10/50 first, then the $10/10.

Tried to buy $100 MC w/ my Amex. They won't let you use a CC anymore because of fraud, only cash or debit.

Darn was too lazy to go to Safeway last night.

I did notice that the J4U for the mastercard doesn't end til 12/22. So, I'm assuming I can still do it, buy 100 and 50, and get both $15 to come off twice. I'll lose out on the 10/10 cat. But still, 130.90, for $150 is already a nice MM.

And then I noticed the $15/$75 for lowes. Convert that for gas rewards, and a MM as well.

Thank you for this! I will try to get to REI before Dec 9th. I assume I can't order $100 of GC's online and get the $20 GC?

I got the $15 off $75GC for Lowes off on my j4u too. I also noticed that the MC offer goes through 12/22. The $10 CAT might come back around before then, so you could wait a week or two and see?
