If you don't have ECB expiring, Tide will be on sale again on 1/13, same price, this time, will be a cash card deal instead (so better IMO). Hopefully it will be easier for you to walk in 2 weeks? Not sure the extent of your injury though.

If anyone is in need of a good vodka deal, I bought 3 Smirnoff 750 ml at Walmart today for $9.47 each in Sacto. I used the $2 MQ in the CVS ad in todays newspaper on each one. Then I will be doing the $15 rebate that was in the CVS ad on 12/23/12. So for all 3 after the rebate the cost is $7.41 before taxes. I know it's not free like the Pinnacle deal, but I was never able to find the $2 hang tags or the rebate where I live. I hope this helps someone...

OH, I forgot to mention that I did the Mastercard $200 variable load today in Sacto., and the $30 came off perfectly. I paid $175.95 after the $5.95 fee.

While we're on the subject of alcohol deals, I found a good one today on wine at Safeway (not great wine, but fine for a weeknight dinner at home IMO). 6 bottles for an 8 cent MM (not including CRV). Here's what I did, in case some of you can replicate it...

Beringer wine is on sale at SW for ~ $4.43 (many varieties -- I bought all Cabernet).
When you buy 6, you get an extra 10% off making it $3.99/bottle.
I had two loadable j4u Qs for Beringer -- a $1/1 and a $10/6. I'm not sure if everyone has these Qs in their j4u coupon center, or if I had them because I've bought wine there before (although never Beringer). They expire 1/4/13.
The $1/1 came off immediately when I scanned the first bottle.
The $10/6 didn't come off, but the SCO attendant pushed it through without a problem when I showed it to him on my phone.
The CVS ad this week includes a MIR for Beringer wine -- $13 wyb 6. I believe the rebate runs until 1/5/13.
So here's how the math works:
6 bottles @ $4.43 each
- 10% makes it 6 bottles @ $3.99 each = $23.94
- $1/1 = $22.94
- $10/6 = $12.94
Submit for $13 MIR = .08MM (not including CRV or the cost of the stamp )

One important thing to note is that the $10/6 Beringer eQ specifies that you must also be buying $10.01 or more in groceries. (I had more than that, but the Q still didn't come off.)

found I could push the cart a few feet ahead of me then hop on crutches to catch up. Worked pretty good. Thomas the clerk thinks my couponing is awesome (asked me if I have a blog!!) so was very helpful & kind.

Lots of buzz about 75% off Nice & Easy -2MQ (counts for P&G ECB deal & last min. BeautyClub), but was 25% -50% off. Cheapest was 3.99. Norcal is often behind in clearance. Guess we get to get ours in Jan.

Yes, you can. The store at my area does not allow to use GC to buy prepaid master card (cash only), but they seem don't care what you pay for other GCs.

I honestly can't remember for sure. (Since the twins, I have learned very well that memory is directly proportional to sleep!! ) But I don't think so -- I think I just added it within the past week or two. I'm sorry you don't have it!

If anyone actually likes the Glade Winter Collection Candles, and didn't do any at Target when they had the deal, Home Depot had them clearance for 1.50. There are 1.50/2 Q in 12/2 SS. So grab 2, use the Q, so $1.50 for 2 candles. There were other Glade stuff clearanced (it was marked at $2, but rung $1.50), but didn't really look at price. I might go back and grab some more!

I needed a 1.50-2.00 or so filler so I just grabbed the Apple Cinnamon scented one so I could use my HD Zombie Q. If anyone else has any, they expire TODAY!!

Does anyone happen to have an extra rebate form they'd be willing to send me? We already recycled and I haven't been able to find an old ad. I'd be willing to trade if there's something you are looking for. TIA.

Just saw tomorrow's new SFW ad, this wine is on sale for $3.99. If buy 6 bottles, $1 JFU sq only drops for one bottle or for each of 6 bottles? It says limit 1, sometimes every item drops sq in one transaction. Thanks!

Funky little store near my doc's was seriously wiped out. Used to be kind of a classy store, haven't been there in awhile.

The Crutches report:
I found the motorized cart easy to use @ that SW, smooth controls & tight turns-don't know if it's representative of all SW versions
the one @ NH has more comfortable seat but controls are jerky

Crutches are a serious pain. My shoulders are killing me, and good foot's arch cramps in a hurry.
Getting thru RA & CVS not so good
since I was near doc & not near home, I ventured into "I don't care what it looks like" mode
CVS-in earlier trips, found a step stool & knelled on it every few feet to give my standing foot a rest. Could push cart ahead of me a few feet & catch up
In this case, no step stools. First I was seated in pharm, picked up chair next to me & carried it on cart.
Put it down to get someting on low shelf, and realized I couldn't load it back on cart. So I put my knee on it, put crutches in cart and drug it behind me. Pushed chair fwd with my good leg & it was so much less effort & pain than those crutches! Looked like a gimp parade, I'm sure
