Question - I have a personalized JFU price for Huggies wipes for 99 cents. It says one-time, but there's no limit on it. I also have a $1 off coupon, limit 2. Can I buy 2 and get them free, or just 1? Thanks. Been a while since I have been at Safeway. I don't have any babies anymore, but wipes are always useful!

Sprouts:
so the 5/30 doesn't work with SQs, but you don't find out til the very end
total on screen was $12.xx, turned to swipe my card b4 I realized that the 2 had turned to a 7

Saw a guy with clipboard when I walked in & asked how the store coupons worked with the 5/30. He said he'd never encoutered that & would "make it work". I recognized him as AM or something-the guy they call for overrides, etc.
He was checking when I was ready so I got in his line
My total before coupons was over $32, and I had $3 in Sprouts coupons
A lot of my IPs beeped & he was getting concerned
after I paid $17 (with GC),wanted to give me back the 5/30 but it expires today & I would've at least tried adding $1 more to see if it was discounts after all SQs
$32-3SQ =$29. The rest of my discounts were MQs
altho, now that i think back, he struggled to enter some MQs and i think I saw one entered as SQ.
One added $1 and he had to take it off twice...
So who knows...
eventually gave me $5 cash

Also, MFA listed Wholly Guac/Salsa as 1.50ea
I had $1/1 Qs but it was marked .99ea
IPs didn't scan and he gave me $1 off. Still not clear on how they normally handle Qs over the amt of purchase.

thanks for the Sprouts report MissusG! I never buy enough to hit $30 there, but I like Sprouts much more than SW for the shopping experience.


At SW, how does it work when MQ value ($1, for example) exceeds item cost (99c)? What's the policy and does anyone have a link to this specific policy? TIA!

Working six days a week doesn't leave me a lot of time for shopping/couponing these days I sure am glad to be back working though I did swing by Winco today at lunch and picked up a few of the 18 packs of Diet Dr. Pepper for $1.48 each!! Not a huge fan of dr. pepper but for that price, I will drink it

Is anyone finding THIS at their Targets? Calvine store had one on shelf, but rang up $199. Really wanted it for my daughters room

The pizza thing is still $29.99 there also (which is a good thing as I don't really have the need/room for it)

Found a few things 90% off for V-day, but it sure was picked over.

steamfresh $1 items included plain brown rice, white rice & brown rice with veg. Liked that better than froz peas or corn
was way on the bottom, in this store the shelf tags had curled around in a circle

I didn't see any Wolf chili-is that something we have in CA?
wanted to price Yoplait Greek 100 with TQ/MQ ( the lemon flavor) but didn't find it

Target was in Oakridge Mall, so it may have less space & not stock everything others do.

Being as I am about one mile from Winco and about 3 miles from Safeway (while at work) I just don't have a need to go to Raley's anymore. Kind of a bummer too as I was in there 2-3 times a week when they had their e-coupons. Man, I miss those

Their pharm is the best around so I'm still in there occasionally & try to find something to buy.
but the quality seems to be waning too
gut feeling is they don't really want coupon-ers.

I had a 5/50 that I used on the last day, used my free Good/nat'l Qs, got some beef & pork to get 250 points & used $1 pork Qs-in other words, crafted the best deal I could & still paid about $25.
The stew I made wasn't as good as I remember. Meat was tougher. Pork was OK but I seasoned heavily.
I got organic onions, marked 2.79/3lb bag was cheaper than conventional. Were on a rack next to organics & half of them got wet from sprayer. Wet onions
then they scanned 2.99

Little things, but enough to make me think Sprouts is as good if not better when it comes to meat & organic produce. Throw in free animal crackers, wholly salsa & I think they're my new "main" store

ETA: after I did 5/50 thought I might get some more offers, not so far..
