Yesterday i didn't hit the $20 until the last item scanned (all the freebies were on top of my basket so they scanned first) and I noticed the free stuff automatically came off after I hit the $20. The freebies did not count towards the $20. In fact, I thought I'd bought the wrong items because they weren't coming off til the last item scanned. Glad to see it worked automatically.

I was surprised by how busy Raley's was on a weekday. For the most part, the picketers didn't talk to or come near customers. I do think if this drags out, that might change.

my Nob Hill said they were not on strike, but are participating in the freebies which makes the store incredibly busy.

On that note, do any of the SCO codes that i've jotted down still work at SW? the Refreshe, etc?

Oh, and if you are a wine drinker and haven't heard about Grocery Outlet's sale - all wines are 20% off! Makes some crazy good deals since the wines are alerady inexpensive. The cashier does have to enter a coupon at the end of your order to get the 20% to come off so watch for that.

Where are you all finding the cheapest turkeys? With the $25 minimum at most stores it makes it a little more challenging. Seems like Safeway's $.59/lb or Raleys $5.99 one might be the best deal but I'm not sure how they would taste.

    TIA!

Sorry I must have missed that. Had you already hit the $20 threshold when the freebies were being scanned? Today, my cashier didn't have to intervene at all, not even for the bread that was substituted.
Nope. I'm gonna try it tomorrow and hopefully, they will stack the $5/20 Q with the other stuff I'm getting and there will be no problem with the freebies!

ETA: Hmmm... ginger's experience didn't gel with mine, but I paid close attention, since I was sure I was going to figure it out. Will report back tomorrow also.

cvs: we didn't get the milk ECB-no surprise-but we did get a deal on eggs
    2/$3 get 1ecb

RA: my ad doesn't have Libman or Ziploc deals
I have UPs expiring 11/11 so I'll be checking tomorrow to see if we have the shelf tags
Previous experience indicates that there are micro-regions, and other norcal stores may well have these in their ad

My last-stand SW seems to be turning on me. They smiled when they called me troublemaker, but I saw some teeth behind it.
Sorry, if I don't get my JFU price, I void it.
Finally was able to access my JFU account at a store, but of course their printer isn't working Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

    The $1/10 produce Q (exp 11-11) worked on a transaction of $1.19 produce & $9 other stuff

I bought CAmpbell Healthy Request cream soups
I have .88/ea JFU price Campbell cream soups that did not work on these
but they are 99 ea wyb 4
and have $1/3 MQ loaded to my card
.75/ea is about as good a price for this version as I've found

I got a couple of organic cream soups at Sprouts for $1 ea AC
    Pacific foods $2ea - $1 IP [hotcouponworld.com] (ty MFA)
There was a sign-up to pre-order turkeys when I walked in, form has 5/50 Q attached

    Raley's report:

Ginger was 100% correct, of course! I intentionally had the cashier scan the freebies first and they came off as soon as I hit $20 in other items. My $5/20 from last week didn't affect them at all and neither did the freebie MQ I used. OOP out the door was $14.xx and I have another $5/20 that printed. Good day, since I got my newspapers there today and a few other good deals. My store had the Halloween stuff 75-90% off (most of it was 90%!, so super cheap) and a few new dented can deals.
