Mod Edit: This will become the new Northern California Grocery Stores Thread.

Thank you to missusg and mcube for starting up threads for the individual stores for Northern California.

Due to how the timestamp works - it is with apologies to mcube (who started the Lucky thread) that your post is now #141 -- When a thread is merged the posts go in timestamp order.

Please note that there is a 30 day rule for reps -- so any post greater than 30 days old cannot be repped.

This message to remain for the next 24 hours so that our NoCal users can get used to this. Smilie

Staples- didn't see original sale but home page says "extended cybermonday deals" thru 12-1

I wasn't looking for sale, so check your fave sites if you think you missed out-may be extended there too.

Nope. Not another Dollar Tree. Much better stuff and they carry fresh fruit and vegies. It is called 99¢ Only Store. http://www.99only.com/. I don't think I can post a link to the Frugal Find, but search for that blog and then look up the 99 cent store. They have some highlights of recent trips listed.

Thanks dealmommy!!! Pretty close to Grocery Outlet, so that's kind of strange placement but I'll take it!

Can I ask non-sonoma county folks about SW's "gas rewards"? We don't have gas stations at SW, but when I went to SW in Sac, my receipt said that I had "earned one 10cent fuel reward". Do these ever expire? I'll be doing some traveling in December and I'm sure i'll pass a SW, BUT, does the ten cents off make the gas a good deal or better to stick with am/pm?

    TIA!!

The gas rewards expire at the end of the following month in which they were earned. Yours should be good through the end of December. You'll have to see what prices are at the time. The 10c savings may or may not save you anything over am/pm. If gas is cheaper else where, I just let the rewards expire. The bigger savings come in because we can continue to earn 10c credits and use upto $1 off each time. However, I don't usually get that much unless there's a great 4x reward deal going on.

    Thank you jpow!!

Saw that Subway is offering up $2 subs starting in December.

December is Customer Appreciation Month, and you can get two of your favorites for $2 each. Pick up the 6” Cold Cut Combo or the Meatball Marinara today. It’s our way of saying thanks!

I'll probably do that a few times so I don't have to pack a lunch. I'll order the Cold cut combo with all the fixings, then remove the cold cuts to save for hubs, and eat the veggie sandwich for msyelf :-)

Speaking of 99c only stores, I went to the one in Citrus Heights & found big boxes of Cocoa Puffs (16 oz or larger). Normally, I don't buy sugary cereal, but Cocoa Puffs are my weakness. I bought 2 boxes.

Well, depending on where you live. I live in South Sacramento..well, technically Elk Grove, but with a 0.10 discount, it should be cheaper than AM/PM. I believe..Safeway (passed by today) was 3.39. Arco, was $3.37, last I checked.. That was here though. If you earned it in November, you can use it in December. I don't know if they expire or not, as I use them up...can't help you there.
