Mod Edit: This will become the new Northern California Grocery Stores Thread.

Thank you to missusg and mcube for starting up threads for the individual stores for Northern California.

Due to how the timestamp works - it is with apologies to mcube (who started the Lucky thread) that your post is now #141 -- When a thread is merged the posts go in timestamp order.

Please note that there is a 30 day rule for reps -- so any post greater than 30 days old cannot be repped.

This message to remain for the next 24 hours so that our NoCal users can get used to this. Smilie

Ditto. The store manager said that they had gotten a shipment last week -- but they were 12--oz cans. He quickly offered a rain check, then took my ad and scribbled RAIN CHECK, quantity FOUR, and his signature. I asked him if that was how Safeway did its rain checks and he said there wouldn't be any problem, as every cashier knew the product wasn't around.
yep, they switched over to the CANS @pet store, i went ahead & got those

Just curious if you haven't been in SW for awhile? I got zero freebies, and got the $3 off $15 in produce for the second week in a row. Not going to get me in the door without better offers!

When shopping at Target, remember, you ARE the TARGET! "Customer service- what's that?"

My SW shopping has curtailed greatly. I mostly shop at Sprouts and Walmart Neighborhood Market. I quit buying processed food, so I mostly shop meat, produce and dairy. I'm donating the Kashi and mayo to the food bank. The only vice I have left is diet Coke. Not quite ready to give that up, but will in the next few months. Embarrassment
