Office Max changes their ink recycling 05/10/09 (w/ additional policy changes 1/1/10)
It seems like Office Max has changed their ink recycling program yet again.
This weekend I went to a couple of local (South East, FL) stores to return my ink recycling for office max perks credits.
But now the cashiers looked at every ink cart. for it's expiration date. And they would, now only accept if the expiration date was from 2009 or later.
They said ithat their new policy that took effect on 05/10/09th.
They also said if the cart was broken, cracked, or leaking, they would not accept it..
According to the cashiers, Office Max has NOT been receiving full credits from HP, for the ink carts that they sent to HP. So Office Max has cracked down, on what carts they will accept from customer, and then send to HP.
I hope this help others.
