Hannaford is a chain of gorcery stores located in MA, ME, NH, NY and VT.
They don't double coupons or have many awesome catalina deals or even sales, but they often have better regular prices than the other grocery stores around.
Not sure how much interest this thread will have, but I will update it with weekly sales and deals and hopefully coupon match ups.
Any help and input is welcome!!

Their website HERE [hannaford.com] (sometimes they offer coupons on there)
They also participate in Upromise, the info is HERE [hannaford.com] on their site (left side, bottom of the page under services). You can also visit the Upromise site HERE [upromise.com].

Did anyone get an email Saturday? This makes two weeeks in a row that I did not. Wondering why and if there are any coupons this week.
Try signing up again...took me 2-3 tries before I got them when I signed up.

No coupon or CAT offers from Hannaford (not surprised-they will be crunching data and deciding if its worth it again)....one for $1 wyb $5 of participating Campbells and $7 wyb $25 of P&G products CATs but thats it.

No coupons where I am but I notice PSPs are going down at my closest store to be relatively close to some of what is available in the Manchester NH area. I think they are starting to realize that the economy still hasn't improved locally that much at least in the 'burbs and raising prices is not an option for the most part as Stop and Shop has been having aggressive sales and of course you have a reinvigorated MB. In particular, this is the best week my local store has had for produce sales in a very long time.

I believe the option is turned off in the mobile view. If you access the full site it works normally but its slower to load.

I scanned my sticker at the store just in case. nada. Got an email but no good Qs, just a link to the coupons.com type Qs. I noticed that there was one with a 3/25 exp date and something like 4 or 5 of one Q. Hannaford, really, get with it........

DH read that there's a new president. Interestingly, she seems to have hopped over a layer of management since he was there. No idea what ti means.

OAN, for anyone looking for good wine at a cheap price, try the Pinecroft. It's a Hannaford private label that DH worked with the winemaker on. Currently on sale 3/$10 and it's darned good. We've had several bottles of the chardonnay recently; it's not overly oaked as many CA wineries do (so if you like that style you might not care for this).

Hmmm; interesting if Ron Hodges is gone as he was the longtime guy at the helm even when Hannaford was an independent company before it got bought out by Delhaize. I think DEG's focus on merging functions throughout Delhaize America is causing Hannaford to be more like any other supermarket while they used to be more differentiated.

Anywhohow, the stock is at a multiyear low now which is interesting. The Hannaford being expensive is more of a regional thing that has been baked into the stock for awhile as 30 Hannafords end up competing within a reasonable distance of MB and they are getting into the small store format w/ Bottom Dollar. As the small store format is more efficient (think the size of Trader Joe's), they obviously end up passing that savings to us (the consumer). So it's a bit interesting that if anything, the earnings have been ticking up as well as there's a healthy enterprise value (which shows you the true value shareholders are buying into as opposed to the value of intangible assets like goodwill which more or less is an educated guess of the value of the company's brand names).

Yeah, the article announces her only as "President" so not sure if Ron is staying on as CEO, ther ewas no mention. As for goodwill -- when I was doing M&A, that was the amount that the CEO felt he needed to add to the present value of future FCF to get the deal done. So very precise, lol. You do all thess complex analyses and financial projections of FCF, and then add the fudge factor. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Looks like another week of nothing happening at Hannaford. Got the email, no coupons mentioned except for a P&G $5 cat deal.
