okay so here is a question for bonus points-

i alos have a coupon for a free coke. can i use it with the 5/40? it CLEARLY says not combinable with any other offers as does the 5/40.

I'll have to pass on the bonus points, as I don't know for sure. But my guess is that it will work. As long as you're not using any MQ's on the Coke. I had a CAT for a free 2 ltr of Pepsi wys $5 and a CAT for $1 off any produce purchase and I used them both on Sunday on a $12.xx order. The Pepsi CAT took off $1.99 (which was the real price since it was not on sale) and I bought a $1 orange and the produce CAT took off exactly $1.

Now, in the past I used one of those 10% your total purchase (from FF deal) and the darned thing attached to the first 4 items on my receipt (which were jars of Dole fruit) and I had MQ's for every jar of fruit, and it only doubled the first one, then gave me an extra 6 cents on the second one, then didn't double the third and fourth at all. When I studied my receipt very closely I realized that the darned 10% off had attached to those and for some reason it still allowed the face value of the MQ's to go through, but wouldn't let them double past the total value of the fruit minus the 10% off.

Giant registers are one of a kind for sure!!!

I've found 8 oz pom at my Giant. I had only 6 coupons though . I wish I grabbed more since my toddler loves this juice. I am not sure if Walmart carries it but Safeway does and it goes on sale there from time to time.

I've been to 4 different Giants in my immediate area looking for the 8oz. POM. The produce guy in each of them told me they don't carry the 8oz. and they've never seen them. Maybe that size is new and not yet in stock at all Giants yet.

Wow - sophisticated taste for a toddler. That's great he likes something so healthy.

Has anyone had any luck with the Hallmark Catalina at Giant? I don't see it posted on Couponnetwork (but my Catalinas rarely are). Tks so much!

This coming week's inserts are nice. I'm going to have to hit a few Gazette stacks.

1) Does Giant carry cans of Starbucks Refreshers? If not, what's the next best local option? Since the coupon is an outright free one, many rubes will be impinging on stock.

2) Anyone with Shoppers experience: Am I remembering correctly that this week's $1 Q will auto down to 99 or 79 cents (whatever the sale price is). I know when I first moved here in the summer I had beer TP Qs for $1/2 7UP and they were very annoyingly autoing down to 79c despite being coded for $1 off 2 bottles. Ran into some bonehead cashiers on that deal. Here's hoping Sundrop goes on sale this month.

Nevermind -- I just tried and it did not work. Last year, (last time?), there were signs up in the card section advertising the cat but there are none now.

Not sure about the price auto adjusting in this case but I have noticed that my MQ's do not adjust down for sale prices at Shoppers. Also, don't forget about the weekend Shoppers Facebook Q spend $25 (before MQs) get ?? free.

Agreed Shoppers sucks (buy meat one day, open it up to cook the next day and it is rotten; milk spoils quickly, could stockpile enough penicillin for the zombie apocalypse from the mold on the cheese there, and fresh produce seems to go from unripe to rotten without ripening). Remember, they also have a policy of 4 like coupons.

Does anybody know how to get extra copies of this weeks Giant flyer with the coupon for 300 bonus gas points for spending $50? I got one with my WaPo home delivery, and yesterday I looked around at various places trying to buy more copies, but they weren't included in the newstand WaPo for sale around here, they had the weekly flyer without the coupon on the front. Last time they had this coupon, I used it with gift cards (eBay, Amazon, Starbucks, gas cards, iTunes ect.), there are no additional fees when you buy these cards. It doesn't work on Giant gift cards. It was awesome!

Last time I was worried about this I found a tearpad version at CS. You could look and see anyway.
