If they advertized giving out the booklet they better give some to you On the GC thing...I think my advertisement page said it was a random thing that they would pick someone at checkout and see how many Giant products they had purchased and give $5 for each item to a max of 4 GC. Isn't false advertisement grounds for filing a formal complaint w/ the attorney general? Not sure if would escalate that much but you would definitely get what you deserve

ah, no, it's not worth escalating for me, this is generally a good store. I think they just did some of their grand opening sloppily rather than read what their weekly ad was advertising. They also put a high school kid in charge of the gc distribution so I'm guessing he was being a kid rather than diligently walking the store to give out gc. I did get one, though, but it was only after I asked.

McCormick recipe inspirations are 10 for $10, used $1.75 off 2 MQ in tomorrow's paper so .25 for 2.

I had a roll of PT but no one was around looking at my cart. I saw a pair of higher ups walkng around talking about the store and saying hello to customers...I should have asked them.

ETA: GB! I finally went back to the reopening store tonight and they still had store specific specials!!!

They had other not so interesting things but I still got their $1.99/lb red globe grapes and $1.99 Giant brand california strawberries
Looked like they also had special price for Lean Cuisine, some meat..my brain is fuzzy sry. But anyway...check next week too in case.

I'm not sure if all Giant's have this deal, but mine does this week. If you buy $20 worth of participating General Mills items, you get $7 off instantly. One of the items was Progresso Recipe Starters which they were selling for 3 for $4. With this coupon doubled, you can get each 3 cans for 10 cents.

Additionally, my Giant took the $7 off before deducting coupons, so if I had bought 15 cans for $0.50 total I could have gotten $6.50 worth of extra stuff and broken even. If I can get more coupons before Thursday I might give it a shot.

I tried this deal and after scanning $20 worth of product the $7 came off but as soon as I scanned the first coupon the $7 added back on and would not come off after coupons. Customer service told me it has to be after coupons and I stated the ad did not say that. They gave me the 7 for one order but I wanted to do more orders and they said they wouldn't.

Did it actually work for you

I am not very clear on most couponing rules yet, so I've been erring on the side of caution. I saw that the fine print said the deal was after coupons, so we bought enough General Mills items to total more than $20 after our coupons just in case.

I saw the $7 come off instantly, so I thought maybe they didn't factor coupons in, but I guess that is not the case. That is unfortunate, but good to know for later!
