hey, anyone get those supercoupons the S&S has been discussing last week and this week in their Giant ad? I may have missed them but I didn't see any so I assume at least my area (Rockville/Silver Spring MD) didn't get them. BUT I just got 3 supercoupons on the back of the Savings Now [washpost.com] shopping guide. If you don't know about this and live in MD/VA/DC you may be eligible to receive this separate Saturday inserts/ad/"shopping guide paper".
The Giant qs require a $25 minimum purchase (but we know that works and makes for greater savings pre-card-scan ) and were: $1.49 for 5lb bag of russet potatoes $5.99 Dunkin Donuts coffee bag or Folger's Kcups $1.49 Ritz Crackers (9.5-15.1oz, excludes 11.3oz) So see if you can get Savings Now in your area! |

Reputation is an idle and most false imposition; oft got without merit, and lost without deserving.
William Shakespeare A man desires praise that he may be reassured, that he may be quit of his doubting of himself; he is indifferent to applause when he is confident of success. Alec Waugh Better shun the bait, than struggle in the snare. John Dryden (1631 - 1700) |

Food should taste good chips are on real deal. I didn't know that. So glad because I bought a few to try them out last week and really loved the sweet potato varieties. If you haven't maxed out your prints, the coupon is still available on coupons.com and it makes each bag 50c. Saw that it was on sale next week, too.
Is anybody doing the buy 5 betty crocker baking items get free eggs deal? This one took off a flat $2.50 rather than the price of eggs which was $2.19. I bought 5 cake mixes for $6.25 got $2.50 off and also used the grand opening booklet $1 off eggs q. Ended up being $4.94 for 5 mixes and a dozen eggs or 82 cents each. Not a bad deal if you use a lot of cake mix. Mrs. Smith pies: one of the $1 coupons in the inserts, the newer one actually, beeps INF at the register. I bought one each of pumpkin and classic apple pie... not sure why it beeped The older coupon with an expiration date in January is a 992, btw.
Trades: Have several inserts, plenty of tear pad Qs and a few other coupons.

We need those supercoupons they are getting...I finally used the three lonely ones I found on SavingsNow and it was just amazing
. PSP is so high here it was heaven. There was nothing on the mailer ad except 300 gas pts w/ $50 purchase ![]() I wonder if a random page of the WaPo may have had them last week since that SN mini paper is made by them too. Really hoping it has it again this weekend. I gotta ask my neighbor too as I signed them up for it

your neighbors must love getting all those extra coupons every week I wish we had the super coupons, too. The weeks we did have them, I didn't pay attention to them. This was several weeks ago, though, and there was nothing of interest to me. On my list for giant this week are the following: Food should taste good chips $2 - 75c Q = 50c Cracker barrel cheese 10 @ 2.50= $25 - $5 instant savings - $10 IPQ @ crackerbarrelcheese.com = $10 for 10 blocks of cheese Del monte tomatoes buy 4 for $4 use 50c/2 IPQ (NLA, I think) = $2 and get a free giant pasta instantly Maybe a POM pomegranate $2.50 - 50c MQ (not sure of the week!) or ipq = $1.50 Mrs. Smith pies $2.50 - $1 IPQ or MQ (not sure of the week for this either) =$1.50 Vlasic pickles $2- 55c hang tag= 90c Lays chips BOGO $4.29 - $1/2 tear pad I found at giant = $3.29 Clementines $4.99/box Milk $3.50 (only 2% is listed in the flyer...) Stroehman dutch country sandwich bread 2/$4 Hope that helps someone if they're also trying to make it to $50 for the 300 gas points coupon. Also, I'm not buying philadelphia cream cheese this week (4 for $5) since it was bogo and a slightly better deal last week. But I did want to mention that the 40c/2 coupon from the baking booklet found near jell-o doubles despite the DND wording. So if you need cream cheese, this could be an ok deal. I'm actually still not through with the ones I bought in March of this year. |
