Be careful. I have both the store ad and the short ad that was in Sunday's ad. The coupon code for both the $2.49 and $1.99 coupons are the same. I used it today and it still came up at $2.49, and not $1.99. Not worth it to argue to Customer Service considering the extra discount we get by scanning before card.

Oh, thank you for pointing this out. I meant to check the codes to compare. And, yep, we are still getting a better deal than that

Re-reading my post, I should have clarified that I used the $2.49 coupon, not the $1.99 one, but I believe the result would be the same.

I used both today and not surprisingly they deducted the same amount.

I got a Tastykake Super Q in my ad as opposed to Chips Ahoy (maybe Stop & Shop difference).

Asparagus $1.48lb ($1.99lb sp)
Tastykake Family Pack $1.88 ($2.50sp) (instead of Chips Ahoy)
Tide $3.99 ($5.99sp)
Bounty/Charmin $4.99 ($6.49sp)

I will be going to Giant today to gather my store's PSP, I can report back if it helps anyone else.

Also, Gatorade Energy Chews are 10 for $10 and included in the Buy 7 Get 400 Gas Points deal. If you fill up more than 17.5 gallons, then these are free or better. Unfortunately my small car usually only takes 12 or so gallons.

The Bounty/Charmin had a lot of different sizes and I didn't have the coupon in front of me to verify.

I will verify my other Bounty/Charmin sizes/prices before posting. They are much higher PSP and most likely aren't valid for the coupon.

Does anyone's Giant give them trouble about the wholly salsa & guacamole coupons?

I've gone to 2 stores 2 weeks in a row & trouble at both.

Last week it was... for the $1 off coupon on the .89 single guacamoli packs...
Excuse #1 - they don’t take free internet coupons even though I pointed out it’s not free it’s $1.00 off
Excuse #2 - the coupon is for a box of guacamoli not a single pack – even though I pointed out no size restrictions.
The store manager did wind up letting me use them but the CSR said that he said this was a one time thing.

This week at another Giant, even though I used the same coupons as above I also used the $1.50 off of the $2 salsa - they at first limited me to 1 of each type of coupon period and then after talking to the manager I was allowed to use 4 of each type of coupon period. He was concerned about the 1 per transaction and refused to do seperate transactions when I asked. But then he let me do 4 in 1 transaction. He then said he was just plain old limiting their acceptance of the coupons.

I'm beginning to hate Giant. I feel really really stressed right now.

Then he pointed out to me that they cannot be reproduced. I said that I didn't photocopy them, they all have unique number identifiers, you can run them through veri-fi if you want. He then said he wasn't accusing my of photocopying but was limiting the # of coupons & only allowing me more than 1 of each type just this one time! Amazing! I am seriously frusterated right now.

At first I think he thought I wanted to used more than 1 coupon on each item I purchased because when I explained that I didn't he seemed surprised! My husband thinks that in the end the manager gave a little but didn't want to be totally wrong even if he didn't make any sense.

How do you scan your coupons before your card? I guess you go to self-checkout? Do you hit the back button after scanning the coupons and then scan the card?

This week Puffs are 10/$10, psp 1.69 here so if you have any $.75/1 q from the Target back-to-school mead notebooks then free + .50c o. I think I have one left

Sry you had trouble w/ your Wholly qs. The policy posted online [giantfood.com] limits doubling 4-like qs so you could at least get that and those that don't double do not have a limit technically. It does say it can not exceed the item value. The SCO will not judge you though
Was the singles wholly guac on sale or regular price for $.89? If on sale, scan the q before card and there should be no beeps...unless the q is coded otherwise by the manufacturer so nothing is for sure. If that is the regular price then they can definitely deny it flat out.

If you feel you were treated unfairly then use comment cards at CS, surveys on the receipts or call the 1-800 #.

it is easier to do that at SCO... scan your items, then the qs (no need to hit "finish & pay".. just scan qs like it was any other item), then your card. If you don't have SCO.. it is still feasible at the regular register...just look into your purse for a looooong time and pick a young male cashier that could care less . I just do it at SCO but if anyone asks I just say I like to see all my savings at the end like on that [crazy] tv show

Yeah the reg price of the wholly quac packs were .89 - The one store that gave me a prob about these adjusted them down for me in the past. I would be happy with that.
None of these coupons were to double, but our stores limit doubling to 1 like coupon.
I usually do go thru the SCO in the store that has it but they have to adjust the 1 coupon down anyway becasue the computer flags it.

The store tonight (mr limit asst manger guy) I went to a friendly cashier & she was coupon friendly it's just that for some reason my coupon wouldn't scan after a couple tries & she called over a CSR. Don't you know the transactions that they let me ring afterwards the coupons scanned flawlessly on the same register. The cashier even apologized after all the trouble w/CSR & manager - she said she would have just put them through if they scanned the 1st time. She also said she didn't think they were going to do that to me eirther. It was definitely a bad luck night for me.

Thanks for the suggestions of what to do. It made me think more about it. Looked at my receipts - no survey - but I see the store manager's name. Maybe I'll write to him. What it came down to is that the Asst Mgr just limited me b/c he wanted to. I asked him that in the end and he said it was his right. That was after he accused me of fraud (reproducing coupons) and then when I said I didn't photocopy them & that they all have unique #'s - he said that he didn't say that I did. But he really did say it he just used the word reproduced (off the coupon wording) instead of photocopy. I'm wondering if he just was really confused about coupons in general.

Has anybody tried Asparugus and Tasty Kakes?

Just did a run.

Bought 3 tide, $5IS didn't come off. Asparagus also didn' give any extra savings.Tasty take is psp $3.99-Sq 2.11- card 1.49

Went to Cs gave me $5 back.

Tide I got one for 3.99 and the rest 2 for $5.99

So for 3 Tide's I paid $10.97 after IS and I used $3.00 mfq.

Go 3 Tides for $7.99
