This is sold and shipped by a 3rd party vendor with a rating of 86% and you will be responsible for shipping if you need to return it. I've never shipped a large tv on my own but that can't be cheap. So this is not a risk I'm willing to take, maybe others will.
Not mentioned in the thread description, but this TV purchase also qualifies for 17,980 Newegg EggPoints ($179.80) good for 90 days on future Newegg purchases.
Edit: The 65" is available for $1598... not really a sale, but it qualifies for 30,362 EggPoints ($303.62).

You're not responsible for shipping charges if the product is defective or damaged during shipping. There are no restocking fees for returns. For anyone unsure of the TV buy it locally from a store without restocking fees in case you don't like it. I'm buying this and returning the x90CH I bought from cost for 1390 (with tax). Had seen the deal before but didn't take into account the $180 in Newegg points.
Anyone care to chime in if this panel is that much better than the 85" Sony XBR85X81CH (Costco model). Rtings has this panel rated at 8.0 and the 85" rated at 7.0. Is that all I need to know?
