Freddy's has Progresso $10/10 with there in-store coupon. It is part of the Cat deal this week on sale for $2. I have done this part of the deal at Albertsons many, many times. Be aware that the $1 difference will come off as store coupon, and affect your buy $30 total. Great price for soup and get Cat's while buying it, I had to order more coupons, I ran out of printables and MQ's

Since Albertson has been having so many fabulous deals recently, and we have not had any official thread to post those deals, I thought of making a new one to benefit all the SDers in the NW region. From now on, we don't have to say sorry for mentioning Albertson's deals in the Safeway thread anymore.Smilie
Superbob, please post your early store ads here as well, so we don't have to go to HCW to see your post.
Everyone, if you find any deals for Albertson or Freddy you can post here too, since Freedy is rarely has a great deals but some of their Qs can benefit the Albertson's SDers with their generous competitors Qs acceptance policy.

I carry a filler list with me. The things that we need in the house. The list stays on the fridge, then when I go shopping I take it with. This way everyone can add to it. I look at the overages as a discount on that item. Otherwise I end up with random, useless (or fattening) groceries that are a waste of $.

I had one of my fave cashiers give me a stack (yes, I said stack) of the $/$$ Catalina coupons. She is reguarly in charge of the SCO, so she saves them for me Coverlaugh I have never used them, I never get this high. The cheapest one is a $5/50. I might try it this week though, see how smart the coupons are.

I do the same thing. It's seems like as a family of four we always need something. nod

Yesterday one of the regular cashiers, who is really cool about always taking my coupons told me they were informed by corporate not to take IPQs over $1 anymore. I had 3 Kashi $1.50/1 IPQs and she did take them but said some of the cashiers may not now. Has anyone heard anything about the coupon policy changing? Confused

since day 1, the double coupons have stated "cant double over $1.01"...its just that some stores didnt enforce it....the fact that those few stores are enforcing it now, doesnt mean a policy change...just means they are getting around to it....

that counter is weak because the price per weight of the bulk carrots are almost always less than loose carrots; therefore, saying it's cheaper after overage is moot. in a similar scenario where overage were applied to bulk carrots, they would be cheaper (under the assumption that the amount of overage is weighted). Big Grin
Okay, another argument: in a bag of bulk carrots there are always ones that must be discarded; inevitably there are ones that are split, for example. When I pick my own they are always the best of the bunch and waste is minimal so actual cost of usable carrots bought in bulk compared to price of usable carrots bought loose is probably pretty similar!

that is a sound argument, but i've never had any problems with waste from bagged carrots. it's always other pre-packaged vegetables, like lettuce, that are iffy. Big Grin

Carrots: Chatting with produce mgr at FM one day, he recommended always getting bulk carrots because they are always fresher. Less processing I guess but he assured me that they are always fresher. That's reason enough for me to buy loose carrots any day.
