I like to think that if this was the optimal seat style for riding bikes, then all bikes would use them. Like, they'd all come from the factory with these. They tell you on the peloton that your butt is going to hurt a little, and it'll get better over Time as you get used to it. and if it hurts a lot, you probably aren't sitting correctly and to need to lengthen your spine, create more space between your ear and your shoulders, and pull your belly button in.

My wife told me she wouldn't do bike rides as she didn't like her bike. I went and got a comfort bikes with alum frame so it is light and it has been hanging up in the garage since. Good luck!

I can't image anyone's sit bones are this wide. You need to measure the distance between the two for proper saddle size. It's always painful when I see these things on bikes
