wouldn't bite at this price point, uses micron QLC nand. ServeTheHome did a great review about this drive. my main issue is the post cache speeds are around 100 mb/s, basically worse than a hard drive. and write speeds on some of the ATTO I/O tests were horrendous.
I would rather get a cheap HMB drive with TLC nand.

I am an avid gamer, what NVME is suggested? I keep hearing different things.
I don't mind spending extra $ for a faster drive, but I am told PC gaming doesn't require anything above 3000 read/write. Would the difference between 3000 and 5500 read/write be significant in a game like an MMO or shooter?

LTT did a video testing that while PCIe gen 4 drives that are slower than 5,500 will work, there's no guarantee that it will continue to do so.
PCIe gen 3 (like this one) will not work at all.
