The high-pressure blowers are really good for bicycle tires, but not for much anything else. They take a long time to top up a car tire, and take forever to fill a beach toy. I really dig RYOBI's combined high volume / high pressure unit though. Wish M12 line had something like it:

For car tires, I got a portable aluminum air tank from HF. I would fill it with a compressor at home, than go outside and fill tires on all of my cars. Takes way less time (less noise too) than my battery powered Craftsman unit or cigarette port 12V units.

I used the one I got on the last deal yesterday. Works extremely well. Especially like the way it counts up the pressure until it hits the target you set.
