The Gamer's Lounge OT thread -_-V

Skydiving is a very quick experience, even from the worlds highest commercial tandem height of 18,000 feet.

The initial rush of falling is intense but once you reach terminal velocity it isn't that special other than the view. It was kind of cold at that height/speed though. The chute opening wasn't bad, but the initial phase of hanging there is awkward until the jump master loosened the straps. Then the dude started doing crazy cork screws and let me steer for a bit. Landing was easy although we slip through some wet dirt so it looked like I crapped my pants. The entire jump took about fifteen minutes with 7-8 to climb to altitude, 1:20 of free fall, and then another 5 of gliding down experiencing major G forces at the hands of my instructor. Very worthwhile investment though and I think everybody should tttt it at least once.

I didn't even think that part was intense, just felt windy to me.

That part kinda hurt a bit since I didn't pack my junk just right.

Are we allowed to do game sharing here?

I love craigslist

Needed 2 classic wii controllers so I can play SNES on my transformer. So I found a listing on craigslist with a dude selling an entire system with 2 classic controllers for 65 bucks. Bought it, got my two classic controllers (and HD cables BONUS!) and resold the system with one controller and 2 games (I added, since mine is modded I needs NO games) for 100 bucks.

the games I sold with it sucked too, both bought off slickdeals solely to get the included controller

flingsmash (so I got the nice black wm+ controller)
and wii play (for the extra controller)

So I just had to swap the HD cables with my non-HD junks, and throw in those two games.. I'm surprised it sold for 100 (what I had asked)

$100 is top of the scale I would say, but $65 is incredibly low...did you even start up the console to see if it worked??? I guess I would have thought $75 to be rock bottom of what you would get now (sold ours 8 months ago (Christmas-ish) for $300 w/ Fit = winning time frame!)

Having bought and sold so many cell phones on craigslist I have learned it aint my job to determine who is a thief and who is legit.

Yes I fired it up, worked perfectly.
Even came with the WM+ extension, I sold it with the system though (needed for flingsmash game)

I have a wiifit and DDR dance pad thing too that I would have LOVED to bundle with it. But the wii I have currently and those accessories technically belong to a family member (who has no kids and later realized it was stupid to buy a wii - so gave it to me) so I didnt feel right selling his stuff.
