Might as well have one of these since OT seems more interesting than the usual bickering over live vs. psn.

Now, who wants to talk about how LEET they are? -_-V

thumbing up my thread because I can.

if you have that resize image thing enabled, it only shows up as like 200x50 or something.

i didn't realize how big it was. but now that i do, you have to appreciate how clean it is.
Yeah, I have the resize thing, but I clicked on it because I wanted to get a better look, and was all WWWHHHHOOOOAAAAAA

Achievements are not for the meek, it is better to forfeit inheritance of the earth so that the mighty may look upon my gamerscore, and despair. Achievements are for men who dream; men who dare; men who achieve! Men who carve out entire galaxies with nothing more than nimble cheetos-dusted fingers and their wits, and in our leisurely twilight days we shall sit by softly flickering fires with our descendants recounting the tales of these unimaginable glories.

Speaking of which, are there any lego masters out there that I can talk into making me this thing?

I would give it a shot if I could find a parts list or instructions for it, but I am so out of the world of lego that I can't even guess where to start on this thing.

Any more pictures? From what I can see at first glance, it doesn't look too crazy.

EDIT: Found a few more - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/11619

Alright so depending on how much you REALLY want to build this, you can play around in LDD and design it however you want. That will also give you a parts list. LDD - http://ldd.lego.com/en-us/

I can't find detailed enough pictures to make out some of the parts.

What sorcery is this? You put in a picture and it breaks it down into parts? Similar to the 3M thing that chops models into layers for laser cutting?

I will take a look at that, Thanks.

Think of it as CAD with Lego bricks. You have a digital palette of bricks/blocks to pick from and you can "build" in a virtual environment. When you are done, it gives you rough physical instructions as well as a parts list.

That may be good enough. Issue I was having was finding some of the non-standard blocks to use. There are limits to how much time and money I want to spend looking creepy in the lego area of Toys R us.

Maybe you could have a friend stand down at the end of the aisle, recording you? So you could claim you're just shooting an indie film?

Don't buy anything at TRU, mostly overpriced. Figure out what you want to build and go from there. http://www.bricklink.com/ has a lot of sellers that deal in individual pieces. You can find any piece ever made. And once you look at prices, you will figure out if a piece is rare or not. Let me know if you have more questions.

Any of you guys buy shirts from men's Wearhouse? I'm thinking about getting a few but I don't know how good they are. They've got some for $20 and some for $30 and I've got a promo code for $10 off $50. I'm thinking I can't really go wrong unless they are just crap. I got a couple shirts from Joseph A Bank last week and I like them a lot actually but they are generally more expensive than MW.

I buy most of my dress shirts online now. Trying them on in-store was so cumbersome and awkward that I eventually began buying them and trying them on at home, only to have to return them later if I didn't like the fit or feel. So now I only have to make one trip to the store in the event of a return, or none if I buy from places like amazon who have free return shipping.
