Might as well have one of these since OT seems more interesting than the usual bickering over live vs. psn.

Now, who wants to talk about how LEET they are? -_-V

thumbing up my thread because I can.

I keep hearing about people finding all kinds of amazing things at goodwill. I got curious and took a look a while back.

Stacks of VHS players and things that looked like they were infested with every insect imaginable.

I think there were some lightbulbs that looked okay.
That sounds like the one I won't go to. Everything looks like it's 20 years old. Don't get me wrong, the "better"one I go to still it's fair share of old crap but they have a nicer section of clothes that has newer, better stuff. They aren't quite as cheap but they had 1/2 off this week.

Yeah we have 2 or 3 near me. One of them I won't even go in because it's like 100% old nasty stuff. The other one has old stuff too but also some really decent stuff if you're willing to look.
Or die trying.

I never go there but I've been meaning to recently. I hear they have good deals on ties. Is that just like an overstock place? They only have brand new stuff, right?
i got most my jerry Garcia ties from them. it's all new, most is overstock or discontinued stuff. just very hit or miss. they have home furnishings too which are meh. their kitchen stuff you can find decent deals sometimes.

Tuesday mornings is another place i check out on occasion. they don't have much in the way of clothes but home/kitchen stuff. i might have to hit up goodwill. i haven't been there since college, shopping that is.

The quality of content at Goodwill is directly related to the community surrounding it. There are def some shady ones here as well that aren't worth the gas spent to get there.

I like Tuesday Mornings, it is like hunting through garage sales but without the surprise of someone's dirty sh*t... We have one that is kept up much nicer than the other, but the one that has stuff all over the place has a lot of great deals. We get a lot of home stuff there, and random little food snacks or mustard/sauces (specialty things that are 75% off).

Our goodwill isn't that cheap, but has nicer stuff, it is just too much of a hunt. My wife finds quality stuff there a lot. We have a second hand used goods store (New Uses) that has good selections but some stuff is crazy over priced... I go there for tools though. Counter top appliances are good deals too.

I like Marshal's too because they have a sports wear section...and if you can find your out of town team in there it is a steal.

Marshal's for nice coats, Ross for bags and luggage and Home Goods for kitchen stuff. I also usually score a pound of Jamaican Blue Mountain for $8.

Achievements are not for the meek, it is better to forfeit inheritance of the earth so that the mighty may look upon my gamerscore, and despair. Achievements are for men who dream; men who dare; men who achieve! Men who carve out entire galaxies with nothing more than nimble cheetos-dusted fingers and their wits, and in our leisurely twilight days we shall sit by softly flickering fires with our descendants recounting the tales of these unimaginable glories.

Whoa, sounds like someone's mellow has gotten harshed. You need to step outside and blow a doobie or whatever it is you people call it?

I can't see any way that's 100% JBM for that price. You can't even get 100% Kona for $8/lb.
