The lunchables unloaded that are listed as part of the $5/5 Oscar Meyer deal had $1 peelies on them, making them $.99 after coupons. Not bad, considering it comes with a drink, sub & snack. An my oldest would need at least two of the cheap kinds to be full. Haha...
Found the small box of Cheerios for $2.59 like reported previously. Cocoa puffs, golden grams & Trix were all $2.98, so free after $2/2 peelies from Walmart. The new peanut butter toast crunch was on sale for $3.49, so $.49after coupons. "You have not converted a man because you have silenced him." -- John Morley

Today is the last day of the 3-day sale. They have Weight Watchers Smart Ones frozen meals 8/$10. I went thru my fave coupon database and printed 2 coupons $4/10 and one $5/12. Getting 32 dinners for $40, because Savingstar has a deal to get $10 back when you buy $40 in Smart Ones.
So $40 - $13 coupons -$10 Savingstar = $17 or about 53 cents per dinner. Hope there's room in my freezer! Oh, almost forgot - the front panel of the 3-day sale wraparound says get 15 cents off gas when you spend $50 on groceries. So I'll do the cereal deal too and get that as well. My son works there, so I always try to check out with him. He just rolls his eyes when Mom brings out the coupons. |

ALLYoplait cups are $0.50 each this week (not select varieties as stated in the ad). Cheap Yoplait Simplait with the $0.40/1 IPs out there. Bought 6 tonight to get back the $0.40 Savingstar credit --> $0.20 for 6 cups.

I am not sure if Hy-Vee is running this sale everywhere, but today I found out there was a 3 day sale going on right now. (Sun, Mon, Tue) This is in South Dakota, so no idea if it is going on in other states. It isn't listed on the website,...anyway, I don't see it.
Items are: Pepsi Products 6pk 24oz bottles $2.49 (Limit 4) Taco Bell Taco Seasoning packets $.39 Taco Bell Hard Taco Shells 12 ct $.69 Fresh Hy-Vee Homestyle Tortilla Chips $2.49 Boneless America's Cut Pork Chops 3 for $5 Boneless Butterfly Pork Chops $2.48 lb Boneless Center Cut Pork Loin Roast $2.48 lb Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs $2.18 lb Fresh Homeade Pork Sausage $2.38 lb Hormel Whole Boneless Pork Loin $1.58 lb Plus they advertised that they will cut and wrap free. (even though they do this year round, it was really nice that they proactively suggested it. I asked them if I could get it cut into several packages of meat, and they happily cut it, and wrapped it for me. So, I ended up with 12 little packages of meat. They said they would break it down as far as anyone liked. I may go back and get some for my MIL, since I could get 2 pieces per package, with no sighs.) |

I was in Hy Vee today, and the advertisement announcement that comes over the speakers was saying they are giving double gas rewards on Wednesdays during the month of May. Not sure if all areas are doing it, but I'm definately moving my shopping day to Weds.

this week is 10 cents off gas wyb a 16" or 12 " pizza. if you have the fundraising book there is a q for a free 12" wyb a 16". I think the ad said the 16" was 9.99. so ten bucks get 2 pizzas and 20 cents off each gallon. not the greatest deal but that's what I'm gonna do!!
