Coupon Policy:

Hy-Vee is happy to redeem your coupons. The following rules apply when accepting vendor coupons clipped from newspapers or magazines, received by mail, or obtained legitimately from the internet:
  • The coupon must be legible.
  • The coupon should have a scannable bar code (UPC) and a remittable manufacturer’s address.
  • Coupons must have an expiration date and must be used within the stated time frame. Expired coupons will not be accepted.
  • Only one vendor coupon per item will be accepted. However, a customer may use a vendor coupon in combination with a Hy-Vee coupon on the same item.
  • Coupon values that exceed the price of the item will not be accepted.
  • Soft drink container caps will be accepted.
Due to increased fraud, the following two additional rules apply to internet coupons:
  • Vendor coupons that involve any kind of free product will not be accepted, including “buy one, get one free” offers.
  • A Store Director has authority to set monetary limitations (for example, $2.50 per coupon) for the acceptance of internet coupons at the Store Director’s store.

I experimented with making a list in the android app and I like that. Then I found the feature you're talking about to make a list on the web page. Wish they could make the list created on the web page then appear in my adroid app.
I'd mentioned that on their facebook page too - I am trying to do as much paperless as I can; don't want to waste printer ink. So for now I have this app called SugarSync & anything you want synced between your computer/phone/cloud you save in this folder called the 'magic briefcase' on your desktop and then it will automatically sync it between all of those. So I create my list on their web page through clicking now, copy & paste to my 'grocery list' Word doc., & save....then it automatically shows up on my phone when I need it. The same app also syncs all of my phone photos after I take them and then they're automatically backed up on my computer....this is what I originally got if for after losing a bunch of photos several months ago...works like a charm. The whole list thing works fairly well now that it's all set up but yeah - wish they'd just make it so that you could save it in your account online and then be able to access it via the app!!

Or there's always the old-fashioned way...pen & paper list....my problem is my tendency to then lose said list Stick Out Tongue

This week's Pillsbury/Betty Crocker deal (buy 10 items and get $5 checkout coupon) looks good. Planning on doing this: Pillsbury cookies $2.50*4 + Green Giant box veggies $1.18*4 + Betty Crocker cookie mix $1.98 + Pillsbury Baguette Chips $1.67 = $18.37 - two $1.10/2 IP (cookies) - four $0.50 ancient peelies (veggies) - $0.60 IP (mix) - $0.60 IP (chips) = $12.97 and get back $5 coupon + $2 in Savingstar credit ($1 for cookies, $0.50 mix, and $0.50 chips) = $5.97 for all.

Raspberries $1.50 - $1 Driscoll's survery coupons = $0.50/container.

Where is everyone at? I have been liking the 3 day ad, today is the last day. HyVee is a lil further drive, so I have been pm'ing the purex 150oz for $3.99 at wm, using the $1 off 1 purex q from last weeks insert.

The milk and sun chips aren't a bad deal either. Rice krispies would be good, but I don't have any q's right now.

My mom said that she found a tear pad for $2 off the big bottles of Purex. She said it was right on the shelf. My Hy-Vee didn't have them, but you might want to be on the look out for them.

Great quote from a guest on Oprah...

I am sooo sorry! I mixed up my 2 day sales. The cheesey skillets are at Fareway so you should be able to price match at HyVee. Except mine would not match the FS sale since it was a 2 day sale. Frown Ticks me off. But they have a tearpad of .55 coupons there to take to Fareway! Smilie so I did

That's ok. A few of us have reported Fareway deals here on purpose. We should probably change this to the HyVee and Fareway thread. The deals are few and far between at both stores and chances are pretty good that if you have a HyVee you also have a Fareway. And for a lot of us, that's all we have.

HyVee deals:
--- Yoplait simplait included in $0.39 sale - $0.30 IP or GM insert = $0.09. Buy 6+ and get back $0.40 Savingstar credit.
--- Pillsbury cookies 4/$10 - $3.50 ad coupon - two $1.10/2 IPs and get back $1 Savingstar credit. YMMV but I was also allowed to use my "save $2 on MILK wyb 2 Pillsbury cookies" with this, so got two gallons of milk for $1.39.
--- Activia 4-pack $2 - $1 TP = also nice.

On a side note, I could have happily strangled the Hy-Vee manager last night. The milk/cookie coupon was scanned first and wouldn't scan (guessing Pillsbury isn't going to code HyVee milk in that already ridiculously long barcode). Cashier scanned my TEN Yoplait, TWO Activia, and TWO regular Pillsbury cookie coupons, and then called manager, who preceded to tell me that I couldn't use the milk coupons because it was "doubling."
--- Me: "You mean because I had cookie coupons?"
--- Him: "Ma,aaaaaaaammmmm, you're only allowed to use one of these per transaction!"
--- Me: "So you mean I have to buy each yogurt in a separate transaction?"
--- Bagger tries to intervene unsuccessfully.
--- Lady behind me: "For the love of . . . ."
--- Him: "Yes."
--- Me: "Ah, OK, that's going to be 10 transactions."
--- Him: (red faced) "I'll let it slide just this once. You coupon people are confusing."

Also did the Kraft deal at Fareway. Buy 10 items, save $8. Kraft Freshtakes $1.19 - $0.75 IP = $0.44.
IPs for the Velveeta shells NLA, but there were $1/2 earlier this week. Latter on sale for $0.99, so $0.49 each.
