This will not cover the weekly deals. See the individual threads for each week.

Different types of clearance:

1. The kind with official CVS tags on the shelves. These are usually found in many stores.
2. The kind on an endcap or special table and often have green stickers on them. These are usually specific to that store. Sometimes the discontinued items will show up at other stores with these stickers, too.

Post your finds, with as much info as possible including where you found them (on the shelf or in another place in the store). If you know of any coupons to use on the clearance items, post those too.

The following makeup is 75% off.
These prices are good through 8/31/07 and come from the markdown printout. YMMV, but it's likely all stores will have this either now or at some time before 8/31/07.

Different types of clearance:
1. The kind with official CVS tags on the shelves. These are usually found in many stores. Here's great detail from CVS-er here: (Please rep, this is good info to have!)

CVS has 5 stages that their clearance products go through. Four of these stages are marked by 4 seperate tags, which are the yellow tags that say CLEARANCE on them. A store may hit all 5 stages, or skip ahead to any of the further stages at any time. This decision is usually up to the store manager. Also, sometimes the item may skip ahead stages (aka get marked down further) but the staff hasn't had a chance to put out the tag reflecting the latest stage yet. (This happens at my store a lot, because we are very busy & understaffed.) The 5 stages are:

STAGE 1 - yellow tag that simply reads "CLEARANCE" (item is still full price, the tag is just alerting you that the item is being discontinued. For you guys, its an alert to keep an eye on this item as it reaches the further markdown stages)
STAGE 2 - yellow tag that reads "CLEARANCE 25% OFF - YOU PAY $X.XX" (item is now 25% off original price)
STAGE 3 - yellow tag that reads "CLEARANCE 50% OFF - YOU PAY $X.XX" (item is now 50% off original price)
STAGE 4 - yellow tag that reads "CLEARANCE 75% OFF - YOU PAY $X.XX" (item is now 75% off original price
STAGE 5 - items removed from shelf and placed in the designated general clearance area (item is now 90% off original price)[/

If we keep this Wiki updated we'll all save even more money!

From now on, when posting a Clearance deal here in the Wiki, please include as much of the following information as possible: Date posted, Item name, Original price, Clearance Price, % clearance, coupon(s) you used, Location of Store, quantity left.

[YMMV , to the MAX] The deals varies GREATLY from 1 location to another...

i found the hello kitty and sponge bob/neosporin value packs in the clear plastic holders on 2 endcaps in the center aisle around the analgesics, medication section. then i found a bunch more on the shelf where the 1oz neosporin is shelved in first aid. i went to check the price of the .5oz neosporin = 5.99. the 20pk hello kitty and sponge bob bandaids are 3.59.

i found 2 wet ones on one of those swinging metal hooks in i think the cleaning product or paper goods section. it rang up .49, but i got them anyway. i remember seeing the plastic strips full of them on a cosmetic endcap on monday at another store but i didn't know those were the ones. i thought they were the individually wrapped ones in the box that had been on sale at my supermarket which are more expensive than these travel packs. crossing my fingers that they are still there tomorrow and ring up .19!

Now it makes sense why the manager at the store that I was at yesterday said that he missed the hello kitty/sponge bob kits. The ones you mentioned had been taken off the clearance and were regular prices, but the others rang up 0.69

My CVS still had plenty of 90% off inflatables, swim masks and goggles, bubbles, and some flip flops among other random things. YMMV of course, just never know so still worth checking it out. Also noticed they still had some of the 75% off softlips and had moved them to the counter by the cash register.

Sweet, I think I have seen those in my store. Hopefully I still have more J&J Qs though I probably used them all up during that sale a few weeks back.

I bought these at my CVS about 6 weeks ago. The Oral-B coupons do NOT work. You can use Crest coupons on them beeplessly.

Oh no! maybe your manager overrode the price.....some like to do that on items that went to 90% along with the summer items....since they don't want to sell them cheap. At lunch went to a store that did this to the summer items like popsicles....manually tagged them at 50% but luckily for me some items escaped which were jumping rope and mini mr. potato at 90%.

Finally found the Wyler's to go 8-packs for 9 cents! Whee These are small boxes that contain 8 "sticks" of powder for adding to a 16-oz. bottle of water. Got pink lemonade, peach tea, and sunshine orange. They were with the seasonal stuff, but not with the 90% off summer stuff. Shelf tag said 99 cents.
