Deal Details

Based on other suggestions, I decided to make this its own thread. If the moderators wish to merge it that is fine but this way I believe it will get more peoples attention since it is a brand new deal...

Plan includes 1200 minutes / 3000 texts or MMS / 100mb data usage

1) Offered by Page Plus Cellular; a Verizon Wireless MVNO (Reseller).
2) No activation fee. No fees. No taxes.
3) Same coverage area as Verizon Wireless Prepaid.
4) You may use: a) ANY Verizon Postpaid handset with a clean ESN. (Except banned list below!) b) Other CDMA handsets may possibly be used with/without flashing.
5) $29.95/Month fee can be lowered even further by purchasing refill cards at various discounters.

Page Plus: http://www.pagepluscellular.com/

More Info: http://www.howardforums.com/showt...?t=1576900

Coverage Map: http://www.pagepluscellular.com/W...20Map.aspx

As of 5/19/2014, Verizon iPhone 4 and 4S models can now be officially activated on PP. iPhone 5/5s models are still not officially allowed and will not activate without flashing. YMMV.

Calling Mart discount codes are likely to be 5% for now on at the HIGHEST. I still recommend and use PagePlusDirect.com for discounted pins at a 6% discount (or higher)

Other Plans available:

"The 12" - $12/month. Includes: 250 Minutes / 250 SMS or MMS / 10MB Data
Unlimited TnT - $39.95/month. Includes: Unlimited Minutes / Unlimited SMS or MMS (not including data) / 20MB Data
"The 55" - $55/month. Includes: Unlimited Minutes / Unlimited SMS or MMS (not including data) / 500MB Data

I will be leaving P+ soon (and porting my number out) and have a small cash balance and an unused $12 PIN already in my account. I have 3 other lines associated with this P+ account that I will be keeping.

Is there anyway to recover this or transfer it out the cash balance and unused PIN?
No, they don't allow any transferring or cashing out of money. Why transfer out?!

I love P+ but I am now the happy owner of a Nexus 4 on T-mobile's $30 plan.

I will keep my parents on there saving them almost $1000 a year and if I find it isn't worth it I'll resell the Nexus at a slight loss and be back Smilie

I'm going to lose my cash balance that is good until May Mad

I recommend the HTC One V. It might not be the best, but it is one heck of an upgrade from my palm pre plus. Picked it up for $50 with the radio shack deal.

I don't blame you. Not a bad plan. TMo is notoriously bad in my area, so I stick to P+. I really want them to allow 4G phones... maybe soon? I'm on the 55 plan, so I'm paying more than most, but still 50% less than VZW.

They do allow 4G/LTE phones.....you just have to get it flashed (if it will flash).

I just put on a Motorola Droid Razr three days ago onto P+. SmilieSmilieSmilieSmilie

Only bad thing is that only 1X data. Frown

Which radio shack deal is this?

My old Palm Pre Plus is dying and I need to get a new phone.

Not to mention the first paragraph of the wiki, which references this useful link [phonescoop.com].

I'm getting an HTC Incredible 2 off cragslist today for this.
- I'd like to test out PP before completely switching, can I sign up now and port my number later?
- I've never bought a used phone before, any tips on what to check for?

I have no advice for trying it out, but just wanted to add that I just switched to PagePlus (3 phones) last month after having a Verizon family plan for over 10 years. I was scared to take the leap but so glad I did.

We notice no difference at all. It's as if we're still with Verizon yet have much lower bills. I highly recommend it and chances are you'll be fine as Verizon has the most towers out there.

If you are porting over from Verizon (not sure what carrier you have now), just make sure you deactivate backup assistant first.

Good luck and welcome to lower bills.

ETA: My sister and I had the Incredible with Verizon and are using those also with PagePlus. Everything is going smoothly.
