Can't click thumbs up and down to see who thumbed up/down now?

I can no longer click to see who TU/TD a thread anymore... As of the past week or so I could.

I don't know if this is an issue or maybe you just took away the feature.

In which case I think we should have it back because I really really liked it.

Mods disabled it for pumpkin voting it seems.

I hope they bring it back after pumpkin voting. It's a great feature.

I somehow just learned about this a couple weeks before it was turned off, and really found it useful.

On a related note, was the ability to change your vote turned off for the pumpkin contest as well?

it seems like it was turned on during the vb upgrade by accident, nothing to do with the pumpkin contest.

So it was never supposed to be on, and it won't be coming back?

Seriously? It was turned on by accident? Can you guys turn it back on, because it's actually quite a good addition. What would be the harm in having some accountability?

an admin can correct me.. but we never want to encourage any situation where someone gets harassed for td'ing a legit td worthy deal. we want to make it somewhat safe for people to td a deal without repercussions to maintain the validity of the thumbs rating.. other than that its a popularity contest. i get 20 friends and its a great deal..

that's exactly why it would be a good thing, isn't it? ppl know when ppl are purposely thread downing something due to popularity or whatnot

as for the harassment... you're saying that it is better to allow people to TD every thread regardless if it is a good deal or not w/o anyone knowing? i can't imagine hitting the "report" button on a PM from someone who is harassing you about a TD is that hard?

not trying to lay an attack on you personally arj. I just question how bad the harassment issues were when the feature was turned on...
