I've noticed that it seems like despite a lot of us hanging around these forums all day (lots of us at work) that we miss deals since we are in here instead of the Hot Deals section. I think they have something similar to this in the Lounge and thought it would be a good idea for us too.

Any good websites or cheatsheets you know of with a bunch of tips/tricks?
Not that I have used. It is significantly smaller than Disneyworld (I've never been to World). My advice is pick the rides you really want to go on and get there early. The last couple times, I've waited at the entrance to Adventureland about 10 mins before they open. I've been able to ride Pirates of the Caribbean (my favorite ride), Haunted House, and Indiana Jones all within the first ~40 minutes. Although if you are w/ kids you will want to do the same thing at Fantasyland and hit a bunch of those rides first. You will inevitably wait for other rides/repeat rides later in the day, but you have less of a chance of missing a flagship ride later in the day from breakdown, excessive line, etc.

Food - I just eat wherever. If it is hot, there is REALLY good whipped pineapple at the Dole stand by the tiki room show. It is fairly cheap too. That is the only food that I always get.

If you want great seats for the fireworks/watershow/Fantasia thing (I would highly recommend it), get seats at the little café (I think it is Mardi Gras-ish themed) across from the water about 60 (or more) minutes ahead of the show. I really enjoy the show and it is nice to have those seats since they are raised a bit, you are comfy, and you can get food.

I don't have any tips/tricks that I've found on any websites, but there might be some out there.

been to disneyworld a half dozen times, never to land. the best time to go are weekdays while school is in session. it is crazy how much shorter the lines are on a thursday vs friday vs saturday.

make use of the fast pass (if they have it at land). pull one for X ride and hop in line for Y line. there should be a disney app that you can look at to see wait time for rides. if you want good seats for a show, you'll probably need to get there 30+ min ahead depending how busy the park is that day.

I only know about Disneyland California. FastPass is your friend and you can fastpass Fantasmic for a spot if you want. It will not count against your other fastpasses.

I do the first fantasmic show then walk over to get a seat on the street for the Light up Parade thing on the later show since the park is much emptier.

The park on holiday weekends has gotten much better since they restructured the way season pass works. Lower level season pass users have blackout dates for most of December and holidays. Years ago it was impossible to do anything during these times since everyone and their mother showed up and all the fastpasses were gone by 10 AM.

I have also heard that the second week of January or so is the emptiest time to go, sadly this is also the time when all the Christmas styles are removed so any ride that has that will be closed. Haunted Mansion is the only on I can think of off hand.

Usually we get there early and try to get one of the main rides while someone (usually me) sprints off to get everyone a fastpass. After that ride is done I may have another chance to queue up another one.

After that, due to having a kid, the rest of the line time is spent doing the fantasy land stuff and using only faspass throughout the rest of the day. I save Indiana Jones for the end of the night since it empties completely vs being full all day. From there the quick may be able to get Space Mountain one last time as the park closes. If you have kids, take them around the left side of the castle to try to knockout the princess pictures in one shot rather than hoping to find them wandering the park. That is a horrible way to live life.

More important note if you have kids is the rider transfer. Ask one of the workers at the entrance of the line for a stroller transfer or something. This lets one person wait in line and essentially come back with a few instant fastpasses.

Example, I wait in line and ride one with a family member while rest of family does something else. Ride ends and I come back with 3 or so transfers so rest of family can immediately jump in the fastpass line while I take kid somewhere else.

As for food, I prefer going to Downtown Disney (prices are slightly more reasonable). The pizza place with soup near the Disneyland side of Downtown is my favorite due to the fewer people and faster service. This is a decent place to see fireworks if you don't care to get the full music and experience. They also don't care if you bring in your own lunch, have done that many times.

Parking is a mess, but better nowdays with all the overflow options. Downtown gives you an hour or so free and a couple more free if you validate your parking at a downtown restaurant. Last time I was there the lots were so full I said screw it and left my car in the Downtown lot all day. Was only an extra $5 vs the parking garage and I didn't have to fight the mob to get on the shuttle.

Turns out I had more to say than I thought I would.

can't find the PS Plus thread, so I'm throwing it in here.

FYI to all PS Plus members as of 1/4:
check your email for your one day membership extension code for the system outage they had earlier this month.

So I realize I'm probably the only person left in the GL that hasn't played it yet, but I'll probably bite for $7.50 since I'm nearing the end of South Park: Stick of Truth:
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for PS4

I had it for a day back when i had gamefly. I played maybe 15min of it before having to send it back. Would like to give it another chance some day but with Rise coming out later this year, I'm thinking of just waiting until then to get my tomb raider fix.

I'm actually in the middle of playing through it myself right now(got it through GwG a few months back). I'm really enjoying it. Game looks really nice and I don't mind the story either. I'm trying to play through this before I start up Rise of the Tomb Raider which I got from Target in November for 40.
