Welcome to the My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk MCR since 2006!

My Coke Rewards has been officially extended through Dec. 31, 2013, according to their site's FAQ.

Current MCR Bonus Points, (which do not count in the 120-point weekly limit)
  • 20 Bonus Points for a Family Dollar promotion Click here for posts.
  • 250 Bonus points for becoming aCostco member [121fulfillment.com] ($55). Online only.
  • 50 Bonus Points for Safeway grocery delivery account page, near the bottom not the regular safeway site account page. May not be available in all areas.
  • 10 Bonus Points from Coke vending machines with the "Merry Minutes" promo.
My Coke Rewards (MCR) FAQ:

- How may I contact them?
  • Phone: 1-866-674-2653 anytime 9am-7pm EST Monday through Friday to reach an agent directly
  • email address: mycokerewards.support@na.ko.com
  • Ask Allysa (formerly Hank) feature on the MCR site -- not always reliable
- When does the promotion end? The program will end on December 31, 2013, (but has often been renewed).

- Codes with 12 characters will still be accepted into early 2012, (still working as of late October, 2012.)

- Weekly Point Limits, Invalids & Start and End of Weeks:

Up to 120 points per week are permitted to be entered per account per week. A week starts at 12:00 a.m. E.T., each Monday, and ends at 11:59 p.m. E.T. each following Sunday.

Any Bonus Points earned are not included in the 120 point weekly limit.

From the FAQ, posted Nov. 30, 2012:

"The current phase of the program ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2013, and you can enter codes up through 11:59 p.m. ET November 30, 2013. We started this up back in early 2006, so we’ve been doing this for a while. We have to take it year by year; the program has been extended in the past, but that does not necessarily mean it will happen again. In years past, extensions have been communicated near the end of the year, so please read the full Terms and Conditions and keep an eye on these dates. Codes can be entered through November 30, 2013; points can be spent through December 31, 2013."

From the 2012 rules: (will be updated Jan. 1, 2013)
"The current phase of the Program begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on January 1, 2012 and is scheduled to end at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2012 (the "Redemption Period"), but Sponsor reserves the right to shorten, extend, suspend, modify, or cancel the Program, at its discretion, at any time.

"Codes may be entered beginning 12:00 a.m. ET on January 1, 2012 until 11:59 p.m. ET on November 30, 2012 (the "Collection Period")."

"However, if an Enrollee enters 20 invalid codes on a given day Enrollee will be unable to enter any more codes that day."

Don't hold your breath. It seems that it really depends on whether the redeemed item is linked to a current promotion or not. I find that it's far more likely to be shipped quickly if the item *is* currently linked to a promotion. If not, then not.

I freely admit: I'm feeling a little dumb right now. I spent a good part of the year trading for bonus points because I've only got one account and the only way to be ready for the holiday season was to effectively supercharge it. And what am I going to have after it all wraps up? Leftovers. Having points isn't exactly a bad thing, but I just looked at the catalog and if the program closed tomorrow, I don't know if there's anything I'd want to spend them on.

And do you know what makes me feel even dumber? I'm probably going to spend next year trading for all the bonus points I can get, just in case anything changes -- when I know it won't and, like everyone else, I'm standing by on MCR making a mistake.

Yes I received a shipping notification e-mail on friday and as was noted earlier the envelope was sent from MN and it was sent USPS mail without tracking. I live in the Chicago area so shipping was probably quicker here from MN than other places in the US.

Are you saying none of the 12 items offered appeals to you? You don't eat or shop? If they were only offering Coke items, like hats and t-shirts, I would be pissed too, but I think overall they have offered some nice things this year.

No -- I'll wind up with what I think many ultimately will: everything except Shutterfly. But I aimed my trade goals based on last year's redemption limits, even figuring for an increase in pricing. I was trying to be stocked for a couple of $50 Best Buys plus a Facebook exclusive, and so on down the previous line. So I traded for every legal bonus point I could afford. (Which wasn't everything -- some days, I was too light on stock or late to the trade thread. And I couldn't push on Family Dollar: too close to risk locking.) I forgot one of the first rules for this kind of program: past performance does not indicate future results.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I made my trade partners happy, so at least there's that.

ETA: Believe me, this isn't 'poor pitiful me for having points'. I know I'm lucky to assemble what I have in regular caps and labels. It's more towards 'I hunted down all those extra codes for -- what?' In this case, having extra accounts is ultimately more efficient -- but...

I used mine today at Target . . . they were 3-for $10 for the glass, so for two, I paid $5.66 + tax.

Not horrible for those glass bottles. And this year they had Santa on them, I looked all around for those last year and they were gone. Then the last Target I was at on Christmas Eve, they were priced on clearance for 99 cents!
