Thread Details

Welcome to the My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk MCR since 2006!

My Coke Rewards has been officially extended through Dec. 31, 2013, according to their site's FAQ.

Current MCR Bonus Points, (which do not count in the 120-point weekly limit)
  • 20 Bonus Points for a Family Dollar promotion Click here for posts.
  • 250 Bonus points for becoming a Costco member [121fulfillment.com] ($55). Online only.
  • 50 Bonus Points for Safeway grocery delivery account page, near the bottom not the regular safeway site account page. May not be available in all areas.
  • 10 Bonus Points from Coke vending machines with the "Merry Minutes" promo.
My Coke Rewards (MCR) FAQ:

- How may I contact them?
  • Phone: 1-866-674-2653 anytime 9am-7pm EST Monday through Friday to reach an agent directly
  • email address: mycokerewards.support@na.ko.com
  • Ask Allysa (formerly Hank) feature on the MCR site -- not always reliable
- When does the promotion end? The program will end on December 31, 2013, (but has often been renewed).

- Codes with 12 characters will still be accepted into early 2012, (still working as of late October, 2012.)

- Weekly Point Limits, Invalids & Start and End of Weeks:

Up to 120 points per week are permitted to be entered per account per week. A week starts at 12:00 a.m. E.T., each Monday, and ends at 11:59 p.m. E.T. each following Sunday.

Any Bonus Points earned are not included in the 120 point weekly limit.

From the FAQ, posted Nov. 30, 2012:

"The current phase of the program ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2013, and you can enter codes up through 11:59 p.m. ET November 30, 2013. We started this up back in early 2006, so we’ve been doing this for a while. We have to take it year by year; the program has been extended in the past, but that does not necessarily mean it will happen again. In years past, extensions have been communicated near the end of the year, so please read the full Terms and Conditions and keep an eye on these dates. Codes can be entered through November 30, 2013; points can be spent through December 31, 2013."

From the 2012 rules: (will be updated Jan. 1, 2013)
"The current phase of the Program begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on January 1, 2012 and is scheduled to end at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2012 (the "Redemption Period"), but Sponsor reserves the right to shorten, extend, suspend, modify, or cancel the Program, at its discretion, at any time.

"Codes may be entered beginning 12:00 a.m. ET on January 1, 2012 until 11:59 p.m. ET on November 30, 2012 (the "Collection Period")."

"However, if an Enrollee enters 20 invalid codes on a given day Enrollee will be unable to enter any more codes that day."

Enter in six MCR codes.
Enter in each of the four shirt codes, one at a time and only once, select your shirt each time.
Enter in six more MCR codes.
Then, enter in the four shirt codes once again.

The shirt codes can be used twice and the six MRC codes cover the first round of shirts. Then, just rinse and repeat.
I wonder if I messed up. I entered in the four shirt codes, then six cap codes. It popped up for the shirt offer once for me (I chose ohio state for my foreman at work). I then entered in the four shirt codes again. Two of the offers came up for me (Michigan for a different foreman and then Boise State for me just because I think they get shafted every year by the BC-mesS) but the other two codes didn't let me chose any shirt at all. Am I screwed for good on this offer? or until I get six more codes? or what?

when you say enter six more MCR codes, you mean new ones right? you can't reuse the same six codes from the first offer right?

edit: i went to "my special offers" and saw one more shirt promo for me to collect (fourth one in all) so I chose Wisconsin for my friend. maybe i did it correctly? also, do Powerade caps count toward this offer? I have those but don't want to use them up just yet if they won't count

Just XL for the men.
I guess they figure with all of the Coke products you are drinking, they don't need anything smaller. lucky for me I don't drink any coke...i just get the caps from my coworkers. i have nearly 1000 points this way (haven't purchased a single bottle). are there any rewards that are useful to spend points on?

The t-shirt offer with the smaller list of schools. Those actually just have large men's shirts. I had forgotten about that one.

I don't think re-entering old/used codes will work. Since, the system usually says that the code has been previously entered. I don't think the Powerade caps will work. BUT, I could be wrong. EDIT: Others have had success with Powerade caps.

It sounds like you got all four shirt offers to work, once. You may need to just enter a few more codes for using each code a second time. But, do keep an eye on the special offers. If you haven't selected the school. It should remain there in the special offers. There was a time when the special offers would clear out once you were signed out (by you or the system). It doesn't appear that is the case anymore. But, I selected my shirts right away.

It would be interesting to know what the difference is between the mens/womens shirts (besides the XL/L).

will 16.9 oz works? best deal is $2.5 for 6 pack coke at TT. The cap says rewards on each but not sure if it is worth 3 points each. Otherwise I will get Powerade at CVS. Thanks

On these T-Shirt deals and anything else where you have to enter a special code, I just enter the code right away twice - otherwise I will forget. Sometimes I get credit for caps I have already entered and get the deal right away. Sometimes it just says I got 0 points - but once I enter enough caps, the deal works. I did that with the nabisco deal too. Just easier than trying to remember what the codes are once I've got enough caps.

Of one of my batches of 6 codes, I used a Powerade cap and it worked, at least for me.

I've sucessfully used caps from the 32oz size of Powerade for part of the 12 caps that I used for 8 T Shirts. Used 2 20oz MCR caps from Caffeine Free Coke, then 4 Powerade(also from CVSWink, then 3 mis. 20 MCR caps and 3 Powerade, so I don't know if you need some 20oz or if all Powerade will do.
Try entering the 6 cap codes and then the T Shirt codes, one at a time. order shirt. and then the next, etc. There is less of a chance that the system will
"skip" a code that way.
Thank-you again all of the original T Shirt code posters -I think that I've managed to "rep" you all.woot

I don't think there was a Coke zero one last year. This year, there is one with LiveNation that is winding down.

Or you could just slash it up and down your wrists in the futile hopes that repeated edge cuts would remove the dishonor of having ever gotten it in the first place, not to mention keeping you from making the same mistake twice. Or any other mistake...
