No, not the function at the SCO. Every store in my area (and every store I have seen in the U.S.) has dedicated price scanners in the store at the beginning or end of every other isle.

No scanners at any stores around me.

i have never seen any of these on the east coast - NY,NJ,PA,DE,MD,DC,VA,NC,GA,FL
or on a recent "world's longest yard sale" trip from Ohio to Georgia (I started mid-way and went south)
I would love to hear if anyone has seen these anywhere in the east

But when I found a shower head priced at 47.00, I decided to scan it at the price checker. The price checker did not show the 47.00 price, but in fact it showed 46.06.

Price scanners at all 3 HD stores in MA that I have been too have the price scanners.

Something interesting that I found yesterday... There were several clearance sections in the HD store that I have been too. Unfortunately, none of the yellow stickers showed xx.06 or xx.03 prices. But when I found a shower head priced at 47.00, I decided to scan it at the price checker. The price checker did not show the 47.00 price, but in fact it showed 46.06.

Is HD trying to trick us? Does this mean that the shower head now has 6 weeks until it gets down to a penny?

Had an hour to kill during lunch so I went looking for more of those LED lights at another store nearby that showed a few in stock. Well I only found the display (showing less than $20) but could not find the 4 they had in stock... and I search high and low for them.

While I was going aisle to aisle I decided to multitask and catch some deals for you guys.
Only 6 and 3 cent markdowns.

I wanted to check the prices of some of the items but strangely the Pro Desk did not have a computer for customers. I even asked. All computers up there had scanners and credit card machines attached. Pretty strange. Then again I'm used to the HD close to my house has much low traffic (because the homes in the area are pretty new). This one I visited was VERY busy.

Anyway here are some of the goods I found.

They have price sanners all over the store, so use one first to make sure it is a penny.

If I sell something, what I rarely do, I prefer craigslist with local pickup. Fees on both Amazon and ebay are rediculous.
