i don't know if this will help anyone who's dealing with the clearance issues but i noticed something interesting. I went monday or tuesday of this week and price checked some rat traps with a BOD of 8/14/12. They were still ringing up as the tag clearance price 1.26. I go back friday and the clearance sticker now say 53 cent same BOD. So something that should be a penny is just now hitting the 0.03 price at the 7 month mark. I'm gunna keep an eye on it and try again in 3 weeks. It's not something i really want but if i can figure out how their clearancing stuff that would be great.

check your math (and mine) - I believe that an 8/14/12 BOD would hit 6 months on 2/14/2013 - it won't be 7 months till 3/14/2013

It may be a little sluggish, but not too far off.

dewalt 20 max 4 tool combo was 499 now 124.03 should hit penny in 2 weeks. 311-511. Note this is the kit with the circular saw, reciprocating saw, drill and light., NOT the more current kit with the impact driver, drill, reciprocating saw and light.

You must be very lucky to find this for a penny. If I would need such combo I woulbd buy it at $124.03 which is alread a 75% discount.

I think I'll have to make a run down to the HD after dinner and check on these. Shows 5 in stock at my closest store and another 4 across town.

That seems like too many for such a clearance item. I think this may be a regional thing. I am in Southern California. Online it is orderable/not discontinued as well so very possible to be regional clearance.

these just went on clearance but I notice some of you seem to be interested in some tool before they hit penny price. I don't know tools so i don't know what's a great deal and what is just ok but anyway i found these clearance tools, sorry if they've already been mentioned .
