Thread Details

(At one time this thread was rated -5 only because of trashing by SD members which was subsequently cleaned up by moderator. See post #10)

Ryobi router table Model A25RT07, UPC 033287140992, Item 933016, for easy shelf ID the box boldly reads 392 sq inch working surface. Rang up as a penny.

updated title 3/21/10 to include more than just one cent items as some have taken liberty to post general finds, which is fine.

I was able to score 2 of the Ryobi gas backpack blowers. Here are a few pics I have of current or soon to be penny items.

Good luck selling them. I have one up for sale. So far two people where interested but backed out. I assume it was after they read the bad reviews on them.

EASY money on EBAY...unless you get too greedy with your price.

Thanks for posting this. Somehow in redoing my list awhile ago I must have accidentally deleted this item from it. So glad you mentioned this because it was something I wanted to watch out for but my Home Depots aggressively sold these guys when they were first put on clearance. I checked inventory anyways and there was a store with 6 of them EEK!. I went there right away and behold there they all were(5 + a display), and everyone in the store was doing a double take at me as I wheeled them to checkout. In talking with one of the employees she said that the reason they were probably still there was because the tag still showed $33X and wasn't updated. She asked if I was going to resell them and I totally played dumb, but it was obvious she was saying with a tone of "yeah it wasn't updated because we were gonna get them, and I can't believe you're getting all of them". Would have been a dream if I coulda snagged them at a penny, but with those employees that's all it woulda been, a dream.
So you bought six of these at $33/each? If so nice find.

No, I put an X there because I didn't remember the last digit on the tag. The tag was like $330 but I got them for the $119.03 price

I am sure he made it up. Profit margin can't be that low. If cost is $160 for a $199 regular price item, HD will make loss on almost all items in the store when any item is at normal sale price and/or with coupon or even when any item is at it's early stage of clearance!

I'm sure you don't know what you are talking about.

There is only ONE obvious answer as to how this can be looked up. If you woud like, since you brought up "stage of clearance", I could even tell you that items EACH and EVERY STAGE OF CLEARANCE, and the DATE IT DROPPED for each STAGE.

MAKE THAT UP.

Ok then enlighten us. Since you have access to the POS system, please post the dates and the clearance levels.

There is a lot of speculation about dates for clearance and you could help clear those up by posting that information.

I sold mine on ebay for $275-$350 each, and didn't cost me more than $20 to ship each (just shipped them in their box). EASY money like houdini said...
