Swagbucks is not survey sites. You need to use the site equally like to do offers, searching, sb apps, surveys, etc.

You can get banned for using third party software such as ad block, vpn, proxy, bluestack, etc.

You can also get banned from earning too much from various ways, watch sbtv on pc. or doing too much on surveys.

You can't cancel paid fee offers too soon or you will get your account deactivated.

Never ever leave too many points in your account. Never redeem bigger amount too often.

I learnt from my own experience. Good thing they let me have my reward back or will let them keep all my hard work earnings.

You can't even have more than 1 account even you using different PC. They may think it's the same person even it's said it's okay in their TOS.

You can't run the max limit on sbtv for PC even it's said it's okay that will get you banned.

They can deactivated your account without warning or even good reason even if you follow what I post above.

Good luck to all. Thank you for the help, advice, etc. hug

My account was deactivated a few years ago and I also dealt with Allison, who is just awful. I filed a complaint through the Better Business Bureau website and they gave me my account back. Compliance really is a mess, and they couldn't even keep their story straight as to why I was deactivated in the first place.
Good for you!We all need to stand up to them, for me,I'm happy to make my daily goals, cash and get my giftcards ASAP and do it all again.

Kudos and reps to you for following up! If more people would follow up instead of whining and doing nothing, we could effect change!

You are so right. They deactivate accounts willy nilly for just about anything - in a rude, crude manner. How can anyone possibly know all their ever changing rules??? I HATE rude, uncivilized behavior and I won't tolerate it. I will go to the ends of the earth to put a stop to it.

Yes - ALWAYs follow up with complaints or nothing will ever change. One person can effect change, but it can be a struggle. All of us together makes it a lot easier!

Misty you are the queen of us all. I'm really impressed with the steps you have taken to let businesses know that they can't take advantage of people.

But with this post I think the thing I like most- whether the person follows your advice or not- is the time you took to write this out for our deactivated SD'er including concrete steps on how to proceed. That's worth a 1000 reps in my book. heart
What a sweet post. Thank you. You really made my day!! hughearthug

I wish I had thought of submitting a complaint to the bbb when they deactivated my sb account during my first go around. I must've sent 100 emails to "allison" asking what rule I violated. I'm confident they only did it because I was carrying a high total of sb. They never responded beyond a canned response and then just stopped responding to my emails all together. It's funny they encourage you to search or do a survey, then use it against you

This bullsh!t has got to stop.

To quote Alanis Morissette, "Isn't it ironic? Don't you think?"

Deactivated for violating the sanctity of SBs and all the while they are engaging in shady practices and treating members like dirt. I would LOVE to know how much money they made from deactivating accounts. Hours and hours of work down the drain. Even sadder, many people rely on SBs to make ends meet.

I'm going to find a way to put a stop to this or die trying.

I mean what I say, and I say what I mean.

We can assure you that we do not deactivate our Members accounts for "No Reason". We close accounts because they violate our Terms of Service. I understand that our TOS may be a little vague, but due to the nature of our website, we have to keep it very general. If we feel that certain activity will negatively affect our relationship with our advertisers, we will address it.

There is no way that we benefit from deactivating Members without reason. One, it causes a very bad experience for a person. People generally voice their negative opinions out loud if they have a bad experience which causes a bad rep for a company. Two, our company receives compensation for the activity that is completed by our members. It doesn't make sense to close a member who is continually active.
